2 Tell me why I edited this book
Li Shufang: The publication of "Shell Museum" can be said to have realized a dream when I was a child. Growing up on the seashore, when I was a child, I stepped on the soft beach with bare feet, comfortably blowing the sea breeze, humming the song "The Little Girl Who Rushed the Sea", looking around for beautiful shells on the beach, picking them up, playing with them, just like picking up rare treasures in the palm of my hand, carefully placing them in my pants pockets, and going home carefully stored in my "treasure house"... The scene of chasing the waves on the beach in search of shells as a child still fresh in my mind. I still don't remember how many "treasures" my "treasure house" hid, but at that time I just had a dream that I would collect all the beautiful "treasures" into my treasure house.
When the leader brought me this original book about shells for me to read, the content of the book suddenly attracted me and made me love it. More than 600 shells are distributed around the world, each with color illustrations of the size of the original size, and the author is also a world-renowned expert. This book seems to be in the dark that I'm going to do.
Calm down to do this book, we are still more cautious, from the text content to the quality of the picture, from the beginning to the end of the careful reading, more determined to introduce and publish this book.

4 Did you encounter any unforgettable experiences during the editing of this book?
Li Shufang: To determine the introduction and publication of this book, the next work is to determine the appropriate author, so I almost understand and compare the experts who can undertake the translation of this book in the country. To this end, during the Spring Festival holiday, I went to visit Mr. He Jing (@Gondwana), although Mr. He also appreciated the book, but because of his personal reasons, he did not have time to undertake translation work. Later, I turned to find the team of teacher Wang Haiyan of the Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Qingdao, and when Teacher Wang got the book, he was shocked and attracted by the content of the book, and immediately decided to undertake the translation of the book. Every translator I searched for gave the book a high degree of recognition, and although the process of determining the translator went through several twists and turns, the affirmation of the scholar I came into contact with in the process increased my confidence in the book.
