In recent years, in addition to actively carrying out economic development, Shanwei City has vigorously developed transportation and strived to improve the traffic environment. At present, Shanwei City has made certain achievements in traffic construction: the Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway and the Shenzhen-Shantou Intercity Metro have been opened to traffic, the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway and the Shantou-Shantou high-speed railway have started smoothly, and the Chaohui High-speed Railway has been opened to traffic.
The Inner Red Sea West Road was completed and opened to traffic, and a number of municipal roads such as Shanma Road and General Navigation Road were comprehensively widened and optimized, and a new three-dimensional traffic pattern was gradually built. At present, Shanwei City will continue to accelerate the construction of transportation infrastructure to promote economic development. It is understood that in order to improve the traffic capacity and environment of the G228 National Highway, Shanwei City will carry out reconstruction projects for some of its sections.
The construction site of the project is located in Lufeng City and Haifeng County, Shanwei, and the total investment of the project is expected to be about 2.787 billion yuan. The reconstructed route starts from Qianguang Village, Shangying Town, Lufeng City, and connects with the current G324 National Highway, and the route runs from east to west, passing through Shangying Town, Yin Zhengdu, and crossing the S19 Xingshan Expressway.
Near Chihua Village in Haifeng County, from southeast to northwest, under the G15 Shenhai Expressway, through Yangxi, Taohe, Taobei, across the Yellow River, and finally in Chishan Village, Chengdong Town, Haifeng County, connecting with the G324 National Highway Line Haifeng Ketang to county section reconstruction project to be built simultaneously, the common line using the G324 Line Haifeng Ketang to county section reconstruction project to connect back to the G228 National Highway Line, the route length of about 32.4 kilometers.
The whole line adopts the technical standard of two-way six-lane first-class highway, with a design speed of 80 km / h and a roadbed width of 37 meters. There are a total of 2528 meters /3 bridges on the whole line, 1226 meters /27 middle bridges, and 3 interchanges. The pavement is made of asphalt concrete.
