
The fluffy rabbit kangaroo, also known as the western rabbit kangaroo, used to be widely distributed in western Australia, but is now limited to Bernier Island and Dolly Island in Western Australia.
Fluffy rabbit kangaroo, small size, body length 31-39 cm, tail length of about 30 cm, weight 800-1500 g, fur is reddish gray. They live alone, are nocturnal and herbivorous.
The fluffy rabbit kangaroo is classified as vulnerable for environmental reasons. It is currently being reintroduced into mainland Australia, particularly the Tanami Desert in the Northern Territory.
