The meaning of fishing is not in the fish, but also in the mountains and rivers. Civilized fishing, protecting resources, everyone has the responsibility!
Jiangxi region was a period of time ago is frequent rainy weather, the water level in the Nanchang section of the Ganjiang River broke through the warning line, so last weekend I went along the river to the Bayi Bridge near the stroll, but found that next to the railing under the bridge, many elderly people with long handles of the net fishing in the river. In addition to the large number of white strips in the bucket of fish,—— squid.
The reason why I know its name is because there is an angler in Qingyuan, Guangdong, who often uses float fishing in the Beijiang River to catch squid. But for the appearance of squid in Ganjiang, I still think it is a little strange, so I sent a micro-headline about squid, and I did not expect that readers across the country gave a lot of comments.

The first point: is sturgeon really rare in ganjiang?

In fact, whether squid is rare in the Ganjiang River or not, I really dare not make up my mind. Judging from my experience of walking along the Ganjiang River last Sunday and first spotting sturgeon in Nanchang, I did think that this fish was more unusual. In fact, I am not a native of Nanchang, but I also thought that this fish was really too rare in Ganjiang.
However, if you think about the scene of seeing sturgeon at that time, it can basically show that the population of squid in the Ganjiang River still has a certain proportion. Secondly, when I picked up the squid and took a picture, when I asked the passerby next to me what kind of fish it was, an old grandmother answered me, this is the sturgeon.
After the release of yesterday's micro-headline about squid, many readers in Jiangxi made comments, saying that nanchang Yao Lake, Ganjiang River, Poyang Lake and other waters have such fish, and there are many of them. Secondly, the waters of Hubei Three Gorges, Xiaogan, Yunmeng and other places, the Beijiang River in Qingyuan, Guangdong, and the Xiangjiang River in Hunan all have signs of sturgeon infestation. And the names of different regions are different, which shows that sturgeon is indeed not rare in Ganjiang and other places.

The second point: what kind of squid in the Ganjiang River is it?

I looked up relevant information, sturgeon is also called needlefish, is still widely distributed in China's major waters. It can be mainly divided into four varieties.
The black-backed round-jawed needlefish has a cylindrical shape and is slightly flattened laterally. Both the upper and lower jaws are elongated and beak-shaped, with 23 to 25 dorsal fins, short dorsal fins and forked caudal fins. Lateral linear scales form a raised crest on either side of the caudal stalk. It is mainly distributed in the waters of the South China Sea, Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea in China, and belongs to marine fish.
The tail spotted needlefish is also cylindrical in shape and slightly flattened laterally. The lateral line does not form a raised ridge at the tail stalk. Lateral line scales 142 to 157. The dorsal fins are 12 to 15 and the fins are 15 to 18. The posterior margin of the caudal fin is rounded with a dark spot at the base. It is mainly distributed in the South China Sea, and it is also distributed in parts of the Yangtze River.
The edophagerosaurus is slender or cylindrical in shape, slightly flattened. The large side of the head is flattened, the back is broad and flat, and the ventral surface is narrow. The mouth is large and the mouth is flat. China's Bohai Sea and South China Sea have a certain output.
Kyushu live in the upper reaches of rivers and lakes and are common small edible fish.
I summarized the physical characteristics and pictures of the above four major squid and the text introduction and population number of the living waters as a reference, and felt that the sturgeon in the Ganjiang area of Nanchang was most likely Kyushu squid.

The third point: Why are so few people caught squid in the Ganjiang River?

It is true that it is rare to catch sturgeon next to the Ganjiang River, and the reasons for this may be as follows. Judging from the salvage situation of the elderly by the river, the sturgeon does occupy a certain proportion of the fish in the Ganjiang River, but there are only a few occasional squid in a pile of white stripes.
, smaller than most of the white strips, more important is the head with small needles, the mouth under the needle is even smaller, they mainly feed on floating in the water, want to fish them so you should fish for the surface of the water body, conventional fishing bottom is more difficult to get.

Final conclusion
Judging from the above analysis, its population is still relatively large, and the location of the water may be different, and the number will vary. Its population density is small, the fish beak is small, and it lives on the surface of the water,
