It is understood that the Dechang County Public Security Bureau received a report from the masses that someone sold precious wild animal parrots through the Internet, and the forest public security bureau police immediately launched an investigation and found that Zhang Moumou, since 2016, has sought sellers to acquire rare varieties of his own needs through network WeChat, qq, etc., to develop parrot breeding populations, and at the same time, sell his domesticated parrots on the Internet for the purpose of making profits.
In the search of Zhang Moumou's residence, 43 parrots of various types were found, and the police handling the case immediately seized and sent them to the Liangshan Prefecture Animal Protection Center for foster protection, and then the police handling the case sent the seized parrots to the Judicial Appraisal Center of the Yunnan Endangered Science and Technology Commission for appraisal, which involved 2 national first-level protected animals and 36 second-level protected animals.
After investigation, during the period from October 2016 to the day before the crime, Zhang XX was introduced online and contacted Jing XX to illegally purchase 2 orange-winged Amazon parrots at a price of 4100 yuan, during which Zhang XX illegally purchased 26 wild animals (parrots) from Lin XX, Wang XX, Li XX and others at prices ranging from 800 to 3000 yuan each in Jiangsu, Anwei, Chengdu and other places through online shopping, and Zhang XX also used 2 orange-winged Amazon parrots through exchange methods. Exchanged 6 monk parrots from Zheng Moumou, and privately contacted and negotiated the price of 4 of them through QQ and WeChat groups ("Parrot Exchange Group"), and illegally sold them to Chen X and Li X for an amount ranging from 1000 to 1200 yuan through express delivery, illegally profiting from them.

In this cybercrime case, involving dozens of cities and counties in Yunnan, Anhui, Sichuan and other places, the criminal suspects used online transactions and express delivery, making the crime process extremely hidden, and the personnel involved in the case had a relatively high level of education, strong anti-investigation capabilities, and the case was extremely difficult to detect.
