The total area of Baodi District is 1523 square kilometers, and the district government is located at No. 116 Jianshe Road, Baoping Street. Baodi garlic is a specialty of Baodi District of Tianjin and a national geographical indication for agricultural products. The character "坻" in Baodi District was originally read only "chí", which means highland in the water. According to legend, the Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty paraded here and blurted out the baodi "dǐ", which has since become a golden mouth and jade language. Baodi, also known as Quyang, is second only to Yuyang (Jixian County) and Yongyang (Wuqing), and has been a major commercial area since ancient times. The total area of Ninghe District is 1414 square kilometers, and the district government is located at No. 76 Guangming Road, Lutai Street. Qili River crab is a specialty of Ninghe River, once with "silver fish" and "reed grass", known by the masses as the "three treasures" of the Seven Caspian Sea. The scientific name of the Seven Caspian River Crab is the Chinese Velvet Crab, which is named after the waters of the Seven Caspian Sea. The Ming and Qing dynasties were court tributes and enjoyed a high reputation in history.
