In the eyes of the world, Sun Wukong is synonymous with "bravery", and his personality is unrestrained.
He worshiped under the Bodhi Ancestors, learned seventy-two changes and various skills, looked for the Dragon King to be equipped, went to the underground mansion to change his life, almost crushed to win the victory, and dared to defy all unreasonable established rules, and had no fear when making a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace.
Embarking on the path of learning the scriptures, Sun Wukong is still the one who worries the most. Saving the master and repelling all kinds of monsters often depends on his ability; fasting, moving rescue soldiers, exploring the way... Basically, he rushed in front, which is simply a rare all-rounder.
He also experienced an indisputable misunderstanding: a stick to kill the evil white bone spirit, although he tried his best to justify it, he was still driven away by the master who did not know the inside.
When ordinary people encounter this situation, most of them are discouraged. But Brother Monkey did not give up halfway, and when the Eight Precepts invited him out of the mountain, he did not hesitate to break the siege for Master.
Because of these things, he won an evaluation of "sentient and righteous"; compared with this, Tang Monk had an extra label of "confused worm", and many people felt sorry for the great sage: such a leader, engaged in double standards, and always wanted to manage him, and his grievances were great.
Two
Is Tang Sanzang, who often constrains Sun Wukong, really a stumbling block on his road? not necessarily.
The omnipotent Qi Tian Dasheng is not perfect, such as short-tempered, competitive, and a bit like to show off, at key moments, these are all shortcomings that may cause trouble.
After escaping from the Five Elements Mountain, the master and apprentice were walking on the road, and they did not expect to meet the robbers. Sun Wukong picked up the golden hoop stick and beat the thief to death several times.
Tang Monk couldn't look past him and criticized him. The Great Sage was so enraged that he simply threw himself into the air and said, "Old Sun go too!" Leaving Master alone in the middle of the road is very unreliable.
When they arrived at Wuzhuangguan, after several disciples conspired to steal ginseng fruit, Sun Wukong could not hold back his temper and rushed out to push the ginseng fruit tree down, causing all kinds of troubles, the master and apprentice were trapped, and they could only invite Guanyin Bodhisattva to end this matter.
Some people have the ability and can resist pressure, but they can't control the bad emotions of impatience, and they are wronged in small things and suffer losses in big things. Over time, life is likely to go in different directions. The same is true of Son Goku.
Three
In the past, watching "Journey to the West", the master brother was fooled into wearing a "tight hoop" which was one of the plots that many people hated: the lamentable and uninhibited Qi Tian Dasheng had to obey the orders of the Tang monks, and then slowly became the decent Sun Wukong.
But what was life like when he had just learned to earn a debt? Worship with demons and ghosts, eat and drink all day, call brothers and brothers, even if you have the ability, in the words of the Dragon King, "In the end, it is a demon immortal, and you can achieve positive results."
If the study of the scriptures is compared to a career journey, then in the journey, among the factors that bring him positive influence, Tang Sanzang must have a place.
After Goku kills the robber, he tells his apprentice, "The monk sweeps the floor for fear of injuring the ant, and cherishes the moth yarn shade lamp." How can you be indiscriminate and beat to death? There is no mercy or kindness at all! ”
No matter what he says or does, he always adheres to the principle of "prudence" and considers things more thoroughly. At the Guanyin Temple, elder Jin Cicada toyed around with his robes, "Shake open and hang them one by one, and ask Sanzang to watch them." Sure enough, it was full of embroidery, and the four walls were Ayaluo. ”
Sun Wukong can't stand it, and he also has to compare his own robes. Sanzang pulled the walker and whispered, "Disciple, don't fight with people to get rich." You and I are single out there, only afraid of mistakes. ”
He advises Goku, "You have not paid attention to it, the ancients have clouds, treasures and good things, do not let you see greedy and treacherous people... Ru is a man who is afraid of misfortune, and he must respond to his request; otherwise, he will perish and die, and it will not be a small matter. ”
For Sun Wukong, this is most of the time a useful guide and constraint. The impatient Qi Tian Dasheng was much calmer in temperament under the influence of his ears, and when he encountered robbers who robbed the Kou people's foreign family wealth, he was no longer blindly fighting.
When the crowd was misunderstood, he secretly planned: "Master should have this night of imprisonment, Lao Sun will not open his mouth to discern, and he will not let the mana power cover this ear." Now that the four are coming to an end, and the disaster will be full, I must go and make some dots, and it will be better to get out of prison at dawn. ”
This is actually a change for the better. After knowing how to obey the rules that should be followed, he ushered in a transformation, completed merit, and eventually became a fighting Buddha, reaching another realm of life.
Four
For "Journey to the West", there has always been an interpretation: the six-eared macaque monkey is Sun Wukong's inner demon. Sun Wukong killed the six-eared macaque, eliminated the wrong thoughts, and from then on, he followed the Tang monks to learn the scriptures, embarked on the right path, and successfully obtained the true scriptures.
The purpose of the "tightening curse" is not just to control. Guanyin Bodhisattva once said, "At first, it was only because you were wild and difficult to tame. Disobeying discipline, er used this tight curse to restrain you. Now that you have the right results, the tightening mantra is naturally gone. ”
No rules and no circles, a life without restraint is too easy to get out of control, and debauchery to a certain extent cannot be counted as "dashing". When Sun Wukong under the influence of Tang Monk, understood the rules and understood self-discipline, he achieved another sense of growth.
In life, we always have to learn to abandon our youthful vigor, become more insightful of human nature, understand human nature more, and learn to solve big problems at the least cost, which is a kind of progress that should be made.
For Sun Wukong, some people appreciate his early untamedness, and some people admire his later steadfastness. These are the two lives of Sun Wukong, and they are also the stages that everyone needs to go through, and "maturity" is such.
