Lady Gaga, formerly known as Stephanie Joanne Angelina Germana Nota, born on March 28, 1986 in Manhattan, New York, USA, is of Italian American descent and is an American pop singer, songwriter, philanthropist and actress.

Lady Gaga was born in Manhattan, New York, USA to a well-to-do Italian family. Her father, Joseph Germanotta, was a web entrepreneur and her mother, Cynthia, was a communications assistant. And Gaga is their eldest daughter. Her sister Natali, a fashion student, was born in 1992.
Gaga studied piano at the age of 4 to the sound of the piano, and when she was 11 years old, she was supposed to be sent to the Juilliard School of Music in Manhattan, but she later enrolled in the Catholic school Sacred Heart.
