It is understood that the common cormorant is a large water bird. Aliases Blackfish Lang, Water Crow, Osprey. The body is 72-87 cm long and weighs more than 2 kg. The whole body is black, the head and neck have a purple-green luster, the shoulders and wings have a bronze glow, the corners of the mouth and throat sac are yellow-green, the underside of the eyes is white, the face has red spots during breeding, the head and neck have white filamentous feathers, and the lower flank has white spots. Cormorants belong to the ornithischiate pelican family Pelicans and are widely distributed in the world's oceans and inland waters, with the largest number of them being temperate tropical waters. Cormorants were included in the List of Beneficial or Economically And ScientificAlly Valuable Terrestrial Wild Animals protected by the State Forestry Administration of China on August 1, 2000, and the IUCN Red List of Endangered Species ver 3.1 - No Endangered (LC) in 2012.
