46: Darwin

Darwin's personal name, Armando Muñoz, appears as a black taxi driver in X-Men: First Battle, who was recruited into the mutant squad by Professor X and Magneto, taking Darwin's nickname. He tries to stop them from taking away teammate Angel Selvado during an attack on the Hellfire Club, but is killed by Sebastian Shaw forcing the energy of the shockwave into him. Darwin's ability was the body's ability to automatically mutate adaptations to its external environment, and it exhibited characteristics called survival of the fittest.
