The 22 houses in Xinzhishan Village are divided into 4 floors and built on the slopes of Yuelu Mountain, including bungalows and two-storey small buildings, of which 10 are in the style of red brick and green tiles, while the other 12 are red tiles and red bricks, each wall still maintains a very bright red color, the style is full of age, reminiscent, but it is kept clean and complete.
It is said that when the old houses here were built, the steps were all made of local materials, and some tombstones on Yuelu Mountain were directly used as steps, so you can still see some of the fonts on the steps. The house here is still inhabited by people, and you can also see some old men full of book atmosphere lying in the shade of trees, it should be a retired professor of Hunan Normal University, and other life should be the third or fourth generation of Zhishan villagers.
