The woman swore not to comply, and the other little brothers came together and pressed her on the bench. The woman could not move, and could only desperately call for help.
At this time, Qi Da, who was standing on the roof watching the sentry, heard the woman's cry for help, immediately jumped down, rushed into the house with a dagger, angrily opened his eyes, pointed at the group of little brothers and shouted: "Who dares to do this today, there is me without him, there is him without me!" ”
The little brothers who were planning to commit violence saw qi da like this, and they all instigated it and hurriedly let go of the woman. Because of Qi Da's rescue, the woman was able to escape this fate. Later, the government arrested the thieves, and the other thieves were all caught and punished as they deserved, and only Qi Da escaped the net.
The thief who was caught said: "Qi Da was hiding under the manger at that time. However, the officers and men who were arrested said that they had searched around the manger many times and had not seen any trace of Qi Da.
This is the story in Ji Yun's "Notes on Reading Wei Caotang", in this story, whether Qi Da was lucky enough to evade the search, or because the officers and soldiers opened the net and deliberately let him go, it is unknown, but no matter what, what Ji Yun wants to express is the truth that good and evil are rewarded. Although Qi Da was a thief of Jiangyang, because he saved the woman, he was able to escape when he was hunted down and obtained relatively good results.
We should all have heard the idiom "thieves also have the tao", but many people may not know that this idiom is actually from "Zhuangzi". Zhuangzi believed: "Everything in the world has its own way, even thieves are no exception." It is wise to be able to guess what can be stolen from the house; it is heroic to be able to sneak into the room one step ahead of the little brother; it is righteous to let the little brother go out first and come out last; it is wisdom to predict whether the action is feasible; it is wisdom to be able to divide the loot evenly, which is benevolence. A thief who does not have these five types cannot become a great thief. ”
Of course, a thief is a thief, and even if he does one or two good things, he can't erase the fact that he stole. However, there is also a way to steal, and even if it is stealing, it does not mean that you can commit adultery and plunder and wanton behavior. Just stealing may not be sentenced to death, but if you kill people and set fire to them when stealing, then, if you punish several crimes at the same time, I am afraid that it will be difficult to escape death. What's more, even if you get away with it, the guilt brought about by stealing and the guilt brought about by murder and arson cannot be said on the same day.
Therefore, advise the world not to do any evil things! Even if it is really because of one reason or another, for a moment of confusion, misdirection, theft and other unrighteous things, please be sure to keep the last bottom line, never fall deeper and deeper, act arbitrarily, and eventually fall into the abyss of no return.
