On the morning of January 11, the "Seminar on Famous Masterpieces and Exhibition of Famous Journalists' Works" was held at the Songzhuang Samadhi Art Museum in Tongzhou, Beijing.
Nearly 30 journalists, editors, cultural scholars, and propaganda workers from inside and outside Beijing attended the meeting with great interest and held heated discussions on topics such as the "feast" and cultural construction in the reporter's personal collection.
The meeting was presided over by Dong Xiujuan, director of Samadhi Art Museum.
The seminar revolved around the "Letter of Recommendation" activity carried out by the "Old Record and Telling Things" public name in 2019.

In particular, the layout of articles and writing techniques have eternal significance and are good teaching materials for young media people to learn. They say that being a journalist is glorious, but it is also not easy. It takes a lot of effort, it takes a lot of hard work. This special collection of veteran journalists is the painstaking work of veteran journalists. Among them, there are ideas and literary talents, which are worth learning from the younger generation of media people.
Zhang Dongwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Xinglong County CPC Committee and director of the Propaganda Department of Chengde City, who came to attend the meeting, said: We often read the public number of "Old Records Say Things", which helps a lot. For example, I read Liu Guochang's article on painting gourds and got inspired. We have tapped local resources and done gourd painting projects, which have achieved certain economic benefits so far. At the meeting, everyone put forward very good suggestions for continuing to run the public account of "Old Records And Stories".
Gao Xiaolin, former director of the Workers' Daily, said that the public account of "Old Records Say Things" has always been insisted on, and its influence is gradually increasing. Many of these columns have special features, which is a good way to carry forward good traditions and cultivate new people.
He suggested that in the future, articles on "appearances" could be added. That is, the old editors talk about the bittersweet and bittersweet in their work, and guide and influence young media people with their personal feelings.
With regard to further running the column "Today's Talk about The Topic," he suggested that the whole process of making a title, such as how it has been changed in the past, can be displayed, and why it has been changed in this way, so that everyone can learn something.

Qiu Ling, a 94-year-old cultural scholar, came to the venue and focused on the topic of promoting cultural traditions and correctly using language and writing. He said that there are a lot of typos in the media now, which is very undeserved. He suggested that "Old Records And Stories" do more work in this regard to guide society to correctly use the language and writing of our country.
The meeting was held, and the old editors of the old record were very concerned. However, due to various reasons, some of them could not attend the meeting, so they sent a congratulatory letter to the meeting to express their own voices.

They are the scarce wealth of this world, this country, this society, this profession that is particularly worthy of respect. The public account of "Old Records and Stories" is a platform for excavating, gathering and disseminating this wealth.
Since its inception, the public account of "Old Memories and Stories" has been working hard, has been adhering to, and has been innovating. They know that "Old Memories" is a wealth with a strong historical accumulation, a gold mine. Each "old book" is itself a thick tome.
