Gao Xu, born in 1969, is a native of Jia County. From his enlistment in the army in December 1986 to his transfer to the local government in December 2013, his 27-year military career has forged his military character of being particularly able to endure hardships, fight and dedicate. It is also out of the original intention and mission of a veteran that only half a year after transferring to the Yulin Energy Bureau, Gao Xu threw himself into the new battlefield of poverty alleviation without hesitation and served as the first secretary of Heyeping Village in Jia County.
