Roy was the No. 6 pick in 2006, playing for the Blazers and Timberwolves, and was the rookie of 2007, making three all-Star appearances and two-time team-of-the-year.
During his NBA campaign, Roy played in 326 regular season games, averaging 18.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1 steal per game.
After retiring from the military, Roy transitioned to coaching the high school team to win the state championship for two consecutive years, and the Nuggets' No. 14 pick Michael Porter was also his disciple.
