Mangrove Forest Nature Reserve, located at the mouth of the Zhangjiang River in Fujian, is the largest wetland ecological park in the province, with a wide variety of water birds, abundant aquatic products, and the best preserved mangrove natural community. At high tide, some trees are engulfed by the sea, slightly taller, slightly exposed on the surface of the sea, like a green tent on the sea, when the tide falls, from the sea to the wind swaying, so it has the reputation of "undersea forest".
When you first heard the name of mangrove forest, you must have thought that it was a red forest like maple leaves, but in fact, it is not, mangrove forest refers to a tree species that grows in the mudflats of the junction between land and sea, and its characteristic is that the seeds can grow young buds in the fruit of the tree, and then fall off on their own, fall into the mud and grow into new plants, and over time form a forest community. It is a rare woody birthing plant.
At the entrance, there is a temple, called "Wind Tower Temple", and in front of the door is written a gilded couplet with fourteen words of "The bottom of the tower is flowing with waves" The wind building Ruimu is colorful" and the two dragon pillars are separated. On the top of the temple, there are "Two Dragon Play Beads" and "Dragon and Phoenix Chengxiang". The outer walls of the temple have various stone carvings, and the red roof is spectacular, which means to bless the fishermen who go to sea with a good harvest and peace.
When we went, the tide was just low, the big boat could only run aground on the shore, we were three people 100 yuan to rent a small boat, let the boatman take us to swim in the green ocean, far away to see a lot of egrets in the treetops to stop and rest, want to wait for the boat to row past, take a beautiful photo for them, helplessly disturbed They spread their wings and flew to another tree tip, looking at us from a distance.
In the mud pool where the tide recedes, you will find a small hole above, a lot of unnamed marine life crawling around, I found that all crabs have only one large pincer, the boat owner told me that this is called "tide crab", at low tide they run on the mudflat, forage, and quickly burrow into the hole at high tide. The boat owner also introduced that there are many rare seafood such as mud cockles, mud snails, clams, mud fish, green saw crabs and so on.
Strolling on the sightseeing wooden bridge, lined with trees on both sides, it is like walking into a forest time and space tunnel, surrounded by layers of trees and like walking through the Amazon jungle. The beaches on both sides of the bridge are the world of small fish and crabs, they are busy running and foraging, and the bridge is our space, far away, the road is blocked by dense branches, as if there is a road and no road, just walk slowly, enjoy the good time.
On the way, I met a fisherman, carrying a full load of burdens, and my red face was full of joy of harvest. Asked what was harvested, the fishermen said that as long as they are not lazy, they will have everything, a simple sentence, reflecting the simple fishermen, just like the quality of the mangrove forest, open-minded and optimistic, casual and free.
