On June 17 and 18, the traffic police brigade and the traffic sub-bureau of the Triangle Town Public Security Sub-bureau jointly carried out a special rectification operation of engineering transport vehicles (commonly known as mud trucks) in the triangle section of the Fanzhong Highway for two consecutive days to strictly investigate the traffic violations of mud trucks. During this period, a total of 21 cases of traffic violations by mud trucks were investigated and punished, and one of the mud trucks was temporarily detained by the triangle traffic police brigade because the driver concerned did not carry a driving license and insurance policy.
Most mud trucks have large bodies and heavy loads, plus some drivers are overloaded, not driving according to the prescribed time line, speeding, rushing red lights and other types of traffic violations can be seen from time to time, potentially large traffic safety hazards, once a car accident has serious consequences. In addition, some mud trucks are also not equipped with hydraulic covers according to regulations, resulting in sediment, slag and lime leaking along the road, and the noise and dust generated seriously pollute the urban roads and living environment, affecting the safe travel of the public.
In view of the above situation, on June 17 and 18, the triangle traffic police brigade organized the law enforcement personnel of the united town traffic sub-bureau of the people's police to set up a point on duty in the triangle section of the Fanzhong Highway where the traffic violations of the mud trucks were more serious, focusing on the withdrawal of mud trucks without licenses, bans, overloading, loading goods in accordance with regulations, floating, not driving according to the prescribed routes and times, and other traffic violations.
At about 15:00 on the afternoon of June 17, Xiao mou drove a mud truck of a transportation company in Guangzhou to carry a truck of silt from Nansha, Guangzhou to a construction site in Zhongshan Minzhong Town, passing through the triangle section of the Fanzhong Highway, when the silt carried on the road was intercepted and inspected by the police on duty. During the period, Xiao failed to show the vehicle driving license and insurance policy, so the police temporarily detained the vehicle for further investigation and processing in accordance with the law.
After verification, the vehicle driven by Xiao held a vehicle driving license and had purchased insurance according to regulations, so the triangle traffic police brigade made a penalty of 2 points to Xiao and fined 350 yuan in accordance with the law.
According to statistics, in the special rectification operation of mud trucks for two consecutive days on June 17 and 18, the triangle traffic police brigade seized a total of 14 cases of illegal acts of mud trucks, 6 cases of banning, 1 case of not carrying a driving license with the car, and 1 vehicle temporarily detained.
On June 19, the Triangle Traffic Police Brigade said that in the future, it will increase the rectification of mud truck traffic violations, create a high-pressure and strict management situation of mud trucks, and also give the people in the jurisdiction a safe, smooth and clean road traffic environment.
