Is Suffocation an underground band? I think it is impossible for any "professional music fan" to be critical to deny this, right? So how do you explain this magical moment? Because the so-called "underground" is not the "underground" that everyone thinks, the reason why Chinese rock has gone underground is actually that no one listened to it in that decade, and the mainstream vision could not see it.
So taking the example of Lincoln Park to illustrate what is "underground" is obviously crooked, because of the top stage of Lincoln Park, they can even afford a professional team of nearly 100 people, and their stage lighting and dance are top-notch.
If I had to give an example of screwing, it can be traced back to Nirvana, where Kurt Coburn would deliberately make the stage sewage flow, make a mess of various wires, and then wear rags and ragged clothes, and from time to time come to some performance art.
But then what happened to the legendary lead singer, everyone knows, in the highly commercial mainstream music circle, Cobain tried to maintain that dirty feeling of underground rock, and finally he could only shoot himself.

This sense of tearing now falls on Bai Jugang, is there something wrong with his band? Surely no problem, he found half a straight musician, how can these people play something that is not "underground"?
But Bai Jugang's words of "my guitarist" and "my drummer" on the stage make it difficult to believe that he really has the same vision and inner state as these "underground musicians".
This is actually the point of sincerity that makes it difficult for people to hear from his song, to put it bluntly, you are a big star, "condescending" to hire a few underground musicians to accompany him, verbally saying that the band is important, he can go back a little, but every word and deed is showing "this is my band of white lifting".
At this time, you sing the lyrics of "I am like this", which can only make people feel bored.

Do you think those "underground musicians" are really willing to perform a performance for only 20 yuan? No, the bugs in the autumn of that year, smashing pots and selling iron also wanted to release albums, hoping that their music could reach more people's ears.
Bai Jugang, who has become a big star, where I understand this bitterness, what I can hear is the kind of self-touching of "I am so stupid, I don't want to play a band with fame and fortune". His music was delicate and warm, a little stronger than the moans of innocence, but not at all to the point where the sense of truth was revealed.
At least, it is really difficult to see Bai Jugang's sincerity in hiring two other band musicians to "work" in this way, which is more like a nobleman who tries to prove how he understands the sufferings of the people, but it is always difficult to get rid of the sense of pity that is high above.
The only thing that is desirable in Bai Jugang's band is that Bai Jugang sings really steadily, but that's all. So he can probably win a stage that values "singing", but he can't impress the audience of "Le Xia" by conveying a sense of truth - because the "core" of his song cannot resonate with people.
And he seems to be trying to solve this problem mechanically, but maybe my level is too low, I really didn't hear what tep was in the song, it was more like a "rocked pop".
Just as a person who does not listen to metal cannot claim to be a "metal party" because he has been dancing in the livehouse for one night and turning around, Bai Jugang's music today can only be said to be in vain.
I don't hate Bai Jugang, in fact, in a way, I can also appreciate his love for the band culture of the band's music. But apparently, he didn't use his strength in the right place.
What does the real band look like, often a partner of one or two decades, is the rustic band, silently standing next to Li Yan to accompany his crazy Li Fan; it is the mosaic of Xia Ying's "I love you, I am willing to beat you" - and another member of the band is hiding next to him and secretly wiping tears.
These are the things that really make up the core of the band, and the music that only hires a few musicians to play is doomed to not have that kind of charm, which is why we hate the mr. of the last season of "Summer of the Band". I don't want to say it too deadly, but if a year later, ten years later, we still see the name of "daydream syndrome" instead of Bai Jugang himself, then it is probably Bai Jugang who threw the phrase "i do'nt care" into the face of each of us who criticize him now.
But if he could really make a band like that, I would not only be willing to be punched in the face, but also shout "daydreaming syndrome" for them from the bottom of my heart.
