Da Weng's original surname is Jin, a native of Yongjia, Zhejiang, born in 65 years, a famous painter. Master of traditional Chinese arts and crafts. President of Jingdezhen Chinese and Foreign Ceramic Art Association, former vice president of the Jingdezhen CPPCC Ceramic Calligraphy and Painting Institute, representative of the 6th Jingdezhen Municipal Cultural Congress, and member of the 12th and 13th CPPCC Committees of Jingdezhen.
In 2019, he won the "Outstanding Achievement Award" of Jingdezhen City;
In 2020, he was awarded the title of "Provincial High-level Talents" in the first batch of Jiangxi Province in Jingdezhen City. In 2013, Da Weng's Chinese paintings and ceramics were collected by the Hubei Provincial Museum.
Mr. Jin Shangyi, a titan in the Chinese art world, personally wrote the title of the book for the "Da Weng Painting Collection". After seeing Da Weng's works, The former commander of the Nanjing Military Region, General Xiang Shouzhi, gladly inscribed the name of the museum for the "China Da Weng Art Museum".
On May Day 2010, Da Weng was invited by the Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Administration Bureau to create a ceramic work of "Scattered Works of Qiankun Wanli Spring" by the Nanjing Government to present to the former President of the People's Republic of China with the scenery of Nanjing Meihua Mountain, the first Meishan Mountain in the world.
During the 2018 SCO (Qingdao) Summit, the Shandong Provincial Party Committee purchased Da Weng's freehand painting "Eight Hundred Thousand Autumns" and hung it in the reception hall of the Shandong Building to receive state leaders.
