Recently, the 11th Yingcheng Judges Forum and Thematic Seminar on Judicial Practice of Construction Project Construction Contract Disputes was held at the Pingdingshan Intermediate Court, co-organized by the Pingdingshan Intermediate Court and the China Judicial Case Research Center.
Liu Shihao, member of the party group and vice president of the Pingdingshan Intermediate Court, attended the forum. The forum specially invited Zhang Jiajun, vice dean of the Law School of Zhengzhou University, doctoral supervisor and executive director of the China Judicial Case Research Center, Xin Jitao, senior judge of the fourth level of the Provincial Court of Civil Fourth Division, and Ding Liang, director of the editorial department of the Provincial Court of Citizens and Law, to exchange views and guidance.
During the forum activities, Judge Peng Li of the Second Division of the People's Court, Lei Dong, assistant judge, and Lu Haotian, a lawyer at Henan Yitianjian Law Firm, respectively made keynote reports on practical issues such as contract validity, price settlement, cost appraisal, and actual construction personnel. Ma Bin, director of Henan Tianxin Law Firm, Wang Lingling, partner of Henan Nanchanghao Law Firm, and Zhao Xiaoming, director of Henan Chenwen Law Firm, combined their practical experience and exchanged speeches around the theme of the forum.
After listening to the speeches of the guests, Xin Jitao put forward his own views on some difficult issues involved in construction contract disputes, and based on the trial practice of construction contract disputes in the provincial courts, commented and guided the discussion topics.
Zhang Jiajun summarized and commented on the key issues collected during the seminar. He believes that the forum discussed and analyzed some controversial issues in the judicial practice of construction contract disputes, and put forward many valuable views and opinions, which have important reference value in the field of theoretical research and judicial practice.
