Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada, USA. Most of the desert animals in the park are nocturnal, and people who come here for tourists don't see them very often. Many species of lizards, snakes and antelopes are common in parks, as well as coyotes, desert foxes, spotted skunks, black-tailed long-eared hares and ground squirrels.
The desert turtle is a rare species protected by national law. But we weren't that lucky enough to encounter it. The long-tailed jerboa also just encountered a corpse... [I'm about to cry] [I'm about to cry] [I'm about to cry]
