(1) Concept: Crimes abusing public office refer to acts that are punishable in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Law by functionaries of state organs, state-owned companies, enterprises, public institutions, and people's organizations who, in the course of performing their duties, violate their statutory duties and intentionally or negligently commit acts that seriously endanger the interests of the state and the people. The procuratorial organs shall be responsible for investigating crimes committed by state functionaries in the performance of their duties.
(2) Type:
1. The crime of misappropriation of public property by taking advantage of one's position
2. The crime of "trading power for money" by taking advantage of one's position
3. Crimes caused by failure to conscientiously perform their duties
4. Crimes caused by abuse of power.
