In the opening 20 minutes, Diogo Hotta and Sadio Mani created a 2-0 lead for the home team, with Trent Alexander-Arnold scoring two goals to give Klopp's side a 2-0 lead.

A draw was enough to get Liverpool to the round of 16, but from the start, Klopp's side seemed to be full of victories.

Horta took the lead for home in the 13th minute when Alexander Arnold crossed from the right and scored at the back post.

Eight minutes later, Alexander Arnold again provided an assist for the team when his low shot was brilliantly picked up by Sadio Mani, who crossed Jane O'Baek.

In the 36th minute, Felipe deliberately tripped Mani and was sent off with a red card, Spain's troubles were further exacerbated.
