Yinchuan, September 2 (Reporter Li Peishan) Reporters learned from the Propaganda Department of the Shizuishan Municipal Party Committee of Ningxia on the 2nd that Ningxia's original film "Green Train" officially passed the review of the State Film Administration and obtained a film release license, and the film will be released in theaters nationwide.
"Little Green Train" is a key literary and artistic project in Ningxia and a gift film celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of Shizuishan. The film is jointly produced by the Propaganda Department of the Shizuishan Municipal Party Committee, the Shizuishan News and Media Center, and the Beijing Chengxuan Cultural Development Center, directed by Zhang Xin, and starring national first-class actors Xu Wenguang and Zhang Duo.
Shizuishan is an immigrant city, one of the top ten coal industrial bases and an important layout point of the "third line" construction during the national "First Five-Year Plan" period, and is the "cradle" of Ningxia's industry. The movie "Green Train" is set against the backdrop of the development and changes of Shizuishan City over the past 60 years, based on the novel of the same name by Ji Dongliang, vice chairman of the Ningxia Writers Association, and all the shots are filmed in Places such as Shi Carbon Well and the former Northwest Coal Machine Factory, except for the main actors, all of which are participated by local people. By excavating the historical and cultural connotation of the "three-line construction" and the "oldest" green-skinned train in Ningxia, the film tells the ordinary and touching love story of the protagonists Guo Cheng and Zhou Ximei, vividly reproduces the struggle of several generations on the Yinru Branch Line of the Baolan Line in the past 60 years, as well as the magnificent life composed by railway workers and coal workers from all over the world with youth and blood, and praises the hard work, selfless dedication and home and country feelings of the Shizuishan people represented by the vast number of cadres and workers on the coal front.
Liu Xufeng, head of Ningxia Red Movie Star Film and Television City Co., Ltd., said that "Little Green Train" uses a plain method to create ordinary and noble, highly representative but vivid characters through many character settings, thus showing the spirit of ordinary working people who firmly aim and make unremitting efforts to fight for a better life, which is a rare and grounded realist film.
