Beijing News (chief reporter Sun Haiguang) On November 3, the 26th Samsung Cup World Go Masters Triban Chess Final Decider was over, and 28-year-old South Korean chess player Park Tinghuan Jiudan Zhibai won the Samsung Cup for the first time in 166 hands against South Korea's first person Shin Jin-chan Jiudan, which was the fifth World Championship of Go in his career.
After defeating Yang Dingxin and Cho Chen-woo in the semi-finals, the korean Go ranking was divided into the top two Shin Jin-hyun and Park Ting-hwan in the final, which was the second time that a Korean chess player won the Samsung Cup after Lee Sedol and Park Yongxun in 2007.
In the first two games of the final three pieces, Shin Jin-hyun and Park Ting-hwan won one game each. Today's re-fight, Park Tinghuan changed his previous steady style and took the initiative from the 48th hand, and Shin Jin-chan played a slow hand in the 49th hand. Later, the inferior Shin Jin-jin wants to kill dae-yong, but the whole situation is always controlled by Park Ting-hwan. In the 166th hand, Shin Jin-hyun pressed the concede button, and the 5-game winning streak against Park Ting-hwan came to an abrupt end.
In the end, Park Ting-hwan won the Samsung Cup for the first time in his career by defeating Shin Jin-chan 2-1 on aggregate. Prior to this, Park had won the 24th Fujitsu Cup, the 19th LG Cup, the 3rd Dream Lily Cup and the 12th Chunlan Cup.
Since the first Fujitsu Cup in 1988, the world chess world has produced 121 world championships and 45 players have won the world championship. After winning the Three Star Cup, five-time champion Park Tinghuan's World Series results ranked 7th in the world chess world. Park Tinghuan is preceded by Lee Chang-ho (17 crowns), Lee Se-seok (14 crowns), Cho Hyun Hyun (9 crowns), Gu Li (8 crowns), Ke Jie (8 crowns) and Yoo Chang Hyuk (6 crowns).
