On November 1, 2021, the 6th China Zhengzhou "Golden Boy Elephant" Children's Film Week released the annual outstanding film work, and "My Physical Education Teacher" won the Excellent Feature Film Award. It is reported that the film will be released nationwide at a later date.
"Golden Boy Elephant" Children's Film Week is sponsored by The Zhengzhou Municipal Federation of Literature and Literature and the Zhengzhou Film and Television Artists Association, the sixth "Golden Boy Elephant" Children's Film Week in 2021 lasted 45 days, the organizing committee received 411 film and television works from all over the country, after the selection of the expert jury, this year a total of 19 cinema films, 9 online movies, 15 short films stood out and won the honor.
"My Physical Education Teacher" is produced by Guangdong Qunxing Film Media Group, Guangdong New Southern Group, Guangzhou Radio and Television Station, Guangdong Himalaya Film Co., Ltd. and other units, directed by Huabiao Award director Zhou Yong, starring Sun Jialin and Wei Lu, telling the bloody story of liu Haochen, a new physical education teacher, and the "Yushuying" teacher fighting wits and courage, insisting on defending the right of middle school students to take physical education classes. Well-known actors Hou Tianlai, Sun Hongtao, Wang Yisheng, Guo Fengzhou, Shen Danping, Zhu Hanfang, etc. participated in the special performance, and performed together with more than 40 ordinary students such as Qian Cheng, Zeng Junfeng, Feng Yiyi. The filming and production lasted two years, the whole film was filmed in Guangzhou, 13,000 actors participated in the shooting, and the whole film was modified 78 times; 63 guangzhou special teachers participated in the easter egg shooting.
The film has conducted more than 30 roadshows in Beijing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Foshan, Nanchang and other places, and has won the affirmation and praise of the audience. It is believed that the film presents the audience with a sunny and positive side, with laughter, tears, and thinking, and conveys positive and upward strength to teenagers.
"My Physical Education Teacher" was also shortlisted for the international feature film unit of the 2021 Nice International Film Festival in France, and won five nominations for "Best Foreign Language Film", "Best Feature Film", "Best Scene Design", "Best Original Screenplay for Foreign Language Film" and "Best Director of Foreign Language Film", and was shortlisted for the Children's Film Unit of the 3rd Hong Kong International Youth Film Festival, and will compete for the "Golden Angel Award" of the 17th Sino-US Film Festival.
