Drink tea and write poetry

When I was a teenager, I learned to drink tea at my grandmother's house. At that time, the people in the mountains lived in poverty and lived a life of eating chaff vegetables. However, grandma and grandpa and four uncles have tea addictions, but they drink homemade earth tea, locust bean tea. There is an ancient locust in the stone courtyard of his family, the autumn wind blows chills, the locust leaves have fallen, revealing a spike of locust fruit, also known as locust lang, such as the shape of a small peanut, yellowish color, transparent and refreshing in the sun. When it was time for the harvest season, the grandmother commanded several uncles to pluck all the locust beans and divide them into a large pile and store them to make their own tea. The preparation is very simple, wash the locust beans, put the pan to fry the paste, add brown sugar and stir, dig it out and put it on the plate, put a pinch in the teapot when drinking, and boil the water for a while. The aroma of tea is very strong and strong, and the red tea soup has a strange scorched smell when drunk. Although this is earth tea, it is incredibly delicious, and my grandmother's family has been drinking this tea for forty or fifty years.

When my hometown was just liberated, I lived in elementary school at my grandmother's house, learned to be addicted to tea, and especially liked the intoxicating burnt smell. In 1958, when I was working as a primary school teacher in the mountains, I began to learn to write poetry, which was actually a folk song of the Great Leap Forward. At this time, I already had a tea addiction, drinking locust bean tea to raise the spirit, soon came the inspiration of poetry, wrote a few poems, posted to the newspaper and magazine, some were also adopted, so drinking tea is addicted, writing poetry is also addicted. Since then, drinking tea and writing poetry has made a relationship, and this fate is still difficult to solve when I am old.

In the 1970s and 1980s, when I wrote poetry became the most exuberant period, after changing from ancient poetry to new poetry, especially the party's good policy of implementing the family contract system in the countryside, I wrote vernacular poems and gave full play to my own strengths, published a lot in the national press, and the "Stars" poetry magazine continuously published group poems, and some won awards in the country and the province. How did these influential poems come about? Drinking tea helped me a lot, the most favorite is under the pergola of the small courtyard of the farmhouse, then changed into yellow tea, brewed a pot when writing poetry, and after drinking three bowls in a row, the poetry god came, passionate, and soon wrote a poem. At this time, the tea flowed into my thoughts, flowing out of the beautiful poetry rhyme, and often wrote wonderful poems that I did not expect. For example, a poem published in the poetry journal "Stars":

It is under the gourd shed of the old home, the recovery of the small courtyard written out by drinking yellow tea, and the luxuriantness of melons and beans, reflecting the brilliance of the party's good policies. The good mentality of tea watering and the beautiful passion of writing poetry have made me give birth to wonderful achievements in writing poetry. Because I am writing vernacular poems, living in a good environment of the farmhouse, drinking the homemade native tea that the old farmer likes, the fresh tea aroma, the strong local atmosphere, the fit between tea and poetry will inevitably be born, and the intoxicating enlightenment of the beautiful soul rhyme.

In my poetry career, I drank almost all the homemade tea in my hometown, and I also drank a lot of tea from the world. However, I am a farmer, I write vernacular poems, and I am most interested in tea is locust bean tea, yellow tea, and jasmine tea. Wrote ten thousand poems, drank one mountain after another tea, tea aroma and rural rhyme gave the health of the old age. That year, I posted an article in Shandong Writers entitled "My works flow from the teapot", and it seems that tea and poetry support my life world and become a happy and fit person.

Feng Enchang was born in 1937 in Linqu, Shandong. He once served as the deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the county party committee and the chairman of the Literary Association, a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a member of the Chinese Folk Artists Association, a director of the Shandong Prose Literature Association, a standing director of the China Vernacular Poets Association, a famous poet and writer of the National Pastoral School, a representative of the "Rural Small Courtyard School", and was known as the god of Oriental poetry. His works have won many awards at home and abroad, and have won the honorary title of lifetime achievement of the highest award of folk literature in the Asia-Pacific region, "Golden Flying Eagle Award", and have been named the title of world cultural celebrity and national first-class artist, the inheritor of the legend of Feng Weimin, and has published 23 literary monographs, "Sugar Gourd" and "Hometown Cicada Song", which have been selected to read textbooks in full-time middle schools nationwide.
