After the Ping'an Road police station accepted the investigation, it was found that in addition to defrauding Mr. Pan of more than 400,000 yuan, Jiang Moumou was also suspected of defrauding many other victims, and the total amount involved was as high as more than 3 million yuan.
After investigation, Jiang Moumou, 33 years old, from this city, unemployed. Previously, Jiang Moumou owed more than 1 million yuan in debt due to economic disputes. In order to repay the loan, he found his old friend Mr. Pan for many years in early June 2020, falsely claiming that he was engaged in foreign trade business, and several well-known online loan platforms were cooperative partners, in order to complete the loan performance, he needed to regularly brush the loan business with major online loan software. Mr. Jiang deceived Mr. Pan that he only needed Mr. Pan to help him brush the loan amount and performance, and said that he did not move the cash in Mr. Pan's personal account at all, as long as the loan was due, Jiang would automatically return the money in the same way, and would give Mr. Pan a large commission. In order to lure Mr. Pan into being deceived and dispel his doubts, Jiang Moumou said that he could mix Mr. Pan's personal consumption and borrowed overdraft money into the "company business" and repay the account. In this way, Jiang Moumou transferred more than 400,000 yuan through Mr. Pan's account online loan 12 times in a short period of time. By the end of July 2020, Mr. Pan's online loan amount was full and could not be overdrawn, and Mr. Jiang deceived Mr. Pan's girlfriend to continue to borrow more than 190,000 yuan through various online loan platforms and transferred it to Jiang's own personal account.
Although Jiang Moumou returned part of the money on a rolling basis during the period of using Mr. Pan's account for online loans, there are still more than 300,000 yuan of holes that cannot be filled. Seeing the expiration of the repayment period, Mr. Pan began to urge Jiang xxx to repay the loan, jiang xxx concocted, demolished the east wall to make up for the west wall, and successively defrauded more than 2 million yuan from several other victims, one of which was even defrauded by Jiang xxx of 1.12 million yuan. By around December 2020, many victims suddenly could not contact Jiang Moumou, many parties could not find it, the pressure of online loan repayment was increasing, and they had no choice but to report to the public security organ for help.
After receiving the report, the police of the Ping'an Road police station quickly looked for clues and summoned Jiang Moumou to the police station for questioning. After arriving at the case, Jiang Moumou confessed to the fact that he had deceived his friends by borrowing money from the online loan platform and defrauding more than 3 million yuan from several friends, and the stolen money obtained by Jiang Moumou's fraud was not only partially used to repay debts, the rest were squandered by him playing games and buying lottery tickets. At present, Jiang Moumou has been criminally detained by the Shibei Branch Bureau for suspected fraud.
