West 10 high-speed railway
The West 10th High-speed Railway starts and ends at Shiyan East Railway Station to Xi'an East Railway Station, with a total length of 255.7 kilometers, of which 86.3 kilometers are in Hubei and 169.4 kilometers in Shaanxi.
Along the way, there are 7 stations including Shiyan East Station, Yunxi Station, Manchuanguan Station, Shanyang Station, Shangluoxi Station, Lantian Station and Xi'an East Railway Station. It is built according to the standard of double-line electrified high-speed railway, with a design speed target value of 350 km / h and a construction period of 4.5 years.
The West 10th High-Speed Railway is an important part of the Yinchuan-Wuhan high-speed railway (Seibu high-speed rail section), including the main line and related projects of the Xi'an hub. The main line starts from about 1 km north of Xi'an East Railway Station (inclusive), leads southeast through the Qinling Mountains, passes through the cities of Shangluo and Shiyan, connects to the existing Shiyan East Railway Station (not included), connects with the completed Hanshi High-speed Railway, reaches Wuhan, and realizes the direct connection between Xi'an and Wuhan. After completion, Shiyan to Xi'an is about 1 hour, Xi'an and Wuhan can achieve 2 hours of rapid access, and Xiangyang to Xi'an is faster.
The whole line passes through the Weihe River Basin and Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi, connecting the Guanzhong Plain and the Jianghan Plain, passing through Baqiao District, Chang'an District, Lantian County, Shangzhou District, Shanyang County of Shangluo City, Yunxi County, Yunyang District and Zhangwan District of Shiyan City.
It is understood that the total length of the new bridge and tunnel will be 242.9 kilometers, the bridge-tunnel ratio is as high as 94.9%, the tunnel accounts for 78.5% of the total length of the line, and there are 5 tunnels larger than 10 kilometers. The longest tunnel on the whole line is the 22.9 km Qinling Mabaishan Tunnel. It is worth noting that the Hanjiang Special Bridge, with a main span of 420 meters, is the first high-speed rail cable-stayed bridge with a beam truss combination structure in China.
