Being able to timely and accurately monitor the elements of the marine environment and the concentration of various pollutants is essential for assessing the quality of the marine environment and effectively preventing pollution of the marine environment. At present, the general marine environment detection method is only suitable for laboratory analysis due to the complexity of the instrument, the expensive equipment, the complex operation process, the detection time is long, it is only suitable for laboratory analysis, can not be carried out on-site rapid detection, it is not convenient to study the marine environment elements and the environmental geochemical behavior of various pollutants in the marine environment on a time and space scale, and it is urgent to develop the corresponding on-site rapid detection sensor method and portable analysis equipment.
The needs of the country is the direction of research, Qin Wei with the sense of responsibility of "national team" and "national people" led the team members to develop a polymer membrane ion selective electrode with high selectivity and high sensitivity to heavy metal ions, developed a heavy metal detection system prototype that integrates sample pretreatment and detection functions, realized the on-site rapid detection of heavy metal pollutants in seawater, proposed the response mechanism of ion-selective electrodes for determining electrically neutral organic molecules, and built a sensor system for on-site rapid detection of seawater organic pesticide pollutants It has developed a label-free and immobilized potentiometric sensor system based on nucleic acid aptamer identification, which has realized the rapid detection of seawater pathogenic bacteria, developed a multi-parameter analysis system for marine environment shipboard and buoy monitoring, and formed a series of sensor instrument products for conventional elements of marine chemistry.
Their innovative achievements have been supported by various projects such as the National Key Research and Development Program, the National "863" Program, the Scientific Research Equipment Development Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the "Marine Special Project" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Marine Science Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
