The surrounding residents heard the noise and immediately surrounded the situation, looked around and found that the window of a certain owner on the 4th floor had fallen off, and then contacted the property to solve the problem. At the same time, according to Ms. Zeng's description, after the incident, the owners of 406 hurried down, holding the child in one hand and cleaning up the scene with the other.

Subsequently, the property management staff came to the scene to pull up the cordon and informed the residents to pay attention to safety.
When Ms. Zeng came back, the owner of 406 had returned to his balcony and began to remove the windows. Ms. Zeng said that fortunately, there were not many owners around at that time, and there was a certain distance from the place of the incident, so there were no casualties.
After the incident, the property service group in the community became hot, and Ms. Liu of Building 4 strongly requested the property to regularly check whether the windows were hidden dangers and asked to install a roof.
A property owner surnamed Qiu questioned the business owner: "Why install glass on the balcony? A landlord surnamed Zhang said that there are many balconies in the community; another owner surnamed Wang said that this problem cannot be easily let go, and the relevant problems of the entire community should be rectified.
Subsequently, the housekeeper of Building 4-6 responded that he had arranged to follow up the relevant work, and asked the residents to check the window sill regularly, if there is any abnormal situation, please contact the property in time to notify the staff to go to the maintenance.
According to Ms. Zeng, the occurrence of high-altitude falling objects in this community is not once or twice, last year there was also a high-altitude falling incident in 12 buildings, when a relatively large stone fell from no one know which floor fell, smashing the rainshield of the door on the first floor, and at that time, a resident was passing by and accidentally injured his foot by debris.
However, due to no monitoring, the property could not trace which owner was responsible, and the victim did not pursue too much, and the matter was not resolved with a notice posted on the elevator door.
After the 12 high-altitude falling objects occurred, residents repeatedly reported problems to the property, requiring the installation of cameras in the community and the installation of a roof in the corridor on the first floor of the building. Until now, however, the requirements have not been fulfilled.
Just yesterday (4th), the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued the "Notice on Preventing Safety Accidents in High-altitude Falling Objects in Management Areas", requiring strengthening the safety precautions in property management areas, avoiding safety accidents in high-altitude falling objects, and jointly building a safe, harmonious and civilized community.
Today, the reporter came to the door to interview the owner of the 406, knocked on the door several times, and no one responded. The property also did not respond in a timely manner to the handling and outcome of the incident.
At 3 p.m., Ms. Zeng revealed the latest property treatment to reporters, and the property said that for the morning high-altitude falling incident, the owner had been notified to remove the balcony glass window, and the follow-up would issue a notice to all the owners who installed the balcony glass.
