The history of the Song Dynasty is 320 years, from Taizu Zhao Kuangyin replacing Zhou in 960 to Emperor Fu's annihilation by yuan in 1279, a total of 18 emperors.

As can be seen from the above figure, the succession of the 18 emperors of the Song Dynasty is basically two branches, one is Song Taizu, one is Song Taizong, and the two are brothers. After Zhao Kuangyin, the grandfather of the Song Dynasty, from the beginning of Song Taizong to the Southern Song Dynasty Song Gaozong Zhao Shuo, it was all ruled by Song Taizong. It was only when Song Xiaozong returned to the Song Taizu branch.
The reign of the 18 emperors is as follows:
1. Taizu Zhao Kuangyin
A native of Zhuo County. He was in Zhou. Later Zhou Shizong, for the inspection of taifu and the front of the palace. After Emperor Gong of Later Zhou ascended the throne, he was changed to a Lieutenant of the German Army.
In the spring of Emperor Gong's seventh year, the Northern Han Dynasty and the Khitan invaded the border. Later Emperor Gong of Zhou ordered Taizu to lead the army to resist, and when he arrived at Chen Qiaoyi, at five o'clock in the night, the generals in the army came to Taizu's account and said to Taizu: "May Lieutenant Tsere be the Son of Heaven." Before Taizu could answer, someone took a yellow robe and forcibly draped it on Taizu's body, and everyone knelt down and worshiped Taizu as the Son of Heaven.
After Taizu was proclaimed, he returned to the dynasty, and Emperor Gong of Later Zhou ascended the throne, so he founded the country under the title of Song. He changed the Yuan three times, namely 3 years of Jianlong, 5 years of Qiande, and 8 years of Kaibao, and reigned for a total of 16 years.
2. Emperor Taizong Zhao Guangyi
Originally named Kuangyi, he was later given the title of Guangyi and was the younger brother of Taizu. After succeeding Taizu to the throne, he changed the Yuan Dynasty five times, namely 8 years of Taiping Xingguo, 4 years of Yongxi, 2 years of Duangong, 5 years of Chunhua, and 3 years of Zhidao, and reigned for a total of 22 years.
3. True Emperor Zhao Heng
The third son of Emperor Taizong. He was established on the throne and changed the yuan five times, namely 6 years in Xianping, 4 years in Jingde, 9 years in Dazhongxiangfu, 5 years in Tianxi, and 1 year in Qianxing, and reigned for a total of 25 years.
4. Renzong Zhao Chan
The sixth son of Emperor Zhenzong. He was established on the throne and changed the yuan 9 times, namely the 9th year of Tiansheng, the 2nd year of Ming Dao, the 4th year of Jingyou, the 2nd year of Baoyuan, the 1st year of Kangding, the 8th year of the Qing calendar, the 5th year of The Emperor, the 2nd year of Zhihe, and the 8th year of Jiayou, and reigned for a total of 41 years. The reign of Emperor Renzong is considered to be the peak of the Song Dynasty.
5. Yingzong Zhao Shu
His father was Yun Rang the Prince of Pu'an, and his grandfather was Emperor Taizong, who was the thirteenth son of King Yun Rang of Yi. Emperor Renzong raised him in the palace. After seven years, Jiayou was made crown prince. After Emperor Renzong's death, he made Zhao Shu emperor. After ascending the throne, he changed his name to Yuan Zhiping and reigned for a total of 4 years.
6. Emperor Shenzong Zhao
The eldest son of Emperor Yingzong. He was established on the throne and changed the yuan twice, namely 10 years of Xining and 8 years of Yuan Feng, and reigned for a total of 18 years.
7. Zhezong Zhao Xu
The sixth son of Shinjong. He was established on the throne and changed the yuan three times, namely 8 years of Yuan You, 4 years of Shao sheng, and 3 years of Yuan Fu, and reigned for a total of 15 years.
8. Emperor Huizong Zhao
The eleventh son of the Divine Sect. Following the throne of Emperor Zhezong, he changed the Yuan 6 times, namely 1 year of Jianzhong Yasukuni, 5 years of Chongning, 4 years of Daguan, 7 years of Zhenghe, 1 year of Chonghe, and 7 years of Xuanhe. Because jin bing went south to besiege Beijing, the situation was urgent, so he gave the throne to Emperor Qinzong and was honored as the Sect Leader Daojun Taishang Emperor, who reigned for a total of 25 years. The Jin attacked Fenjing and coerced Emperor Huizong to follow his army north to the capital of Jin, where the Lord of Jin made Emperor Huizong the Duke of Xiade, and finally died at the City of five kingdoms.
9. Zhao Huan of Qinzong
The eldest son of Emperor Huizong. He was enthroned, changed to Yuan Jingkang for one year, and reigned for one year before being attacked by the Jin people. Together with Emperor Huizong, he was coerced north by the Jin people, and the Jin lord made Emperor Qinzong the Marquis of Chongxiao, and the Jin lord Liang died during his reign.
The reign of the above 9 emperors spans from 960 to 1126, a total of 167 years, known as the Northern Song Dynasty.

10. Emperor Gaozong Zhao
The ninth son of Emperor Huizong, he was given the title of King kang. After Emperor Huizong and Emperor Qinzong were coerced to go north, they took the throne at Yingtianfu (Shangqiu, Henan). Soon, because the Jin people went south and the situation was urgent, they had to avoid Jiangnan and build a capital in Lin'an (Hangxian County, Zhejiang). He changed the Yuan twice, namely in the 4th year of Jianyan and 32nd year of Shaoxing, and later passed the throne to Emperor Xiaozong, known as Emperor Taishang, and reigned for a total of 36 years.
11. Emperor Xiaozong Zhao (shèn)
Initially named Bo Zhen, he later changed his name to Wei and was given the name Wei. Taizu's seventh grandson, Emperor Gaozong was weak and weak, after the emperor chose Taizu. In the second year of Shaoxing, Zhao Yun was selected to be raised in the palace. Thirty years later, he was made crown prince. Following Emperor Gaozong's throne, he changed the Yuan three times, namely 2 years of Longxing, 9 years of Qiandao, and 16 years of Chunxi. Later, he passed the throne to Emperor Guangzong, and the title of Supreme Shou Emperor Shengdi reigned for a total of 27 years.
12. Guangzong Zhao Wei
The third son of Emperor Xiaozong. In the seventh year of Qiandao, he was made crown prince. He was established on the throne, changed to Yuan Shaoxi, for a total of 5 years, and passed the throne to Emperor Ningzong, with the title of Emperor Taishang of Sheng'an Shouren.
13. Emperor Ningzong Zhao Kuo
Second son of Emperor Guangzong. He was established on the throne and changed the yuan four times, namely 6 years of Qingyuan, 4 years of Jiatai, 3 years of Kaixi, and 17 years of Jiading, and reigned for a total of 30 years.
14. Emperor Lizong Zhao Yun
Grandson of Taizu X. Because Emperor Ningzong had no heirs, he chose two descendants of Taizu and raised them in the palace, one called Guihe and the other guicheng. Originally, Emperor Ningzong was the crown prince and gave him a different name. After Emperor Ningzong's death, Shi Miyuan corrected the edict and made Guicheng emperor and changed his name to Yun. After Zhao Yun ascended the throne, he changed the yuan 8 times, namely Baoqing 3 years, Shaoding 6 years, Duanping 3 years, Jiaxi 4 years, Chunyou 12 years, Baoyou 6 years, Kaiqing 1 year, and Jingding 8 years, reigning for a total of 40 years.
15. Emperor Duzong Zhao Yu (qí)
Grandson of Taizu XI. His father, King Rong and Rui, were the maternal brothers of Emperor Rizong. Emperor Lizong had no heirs, and in the first year of Baoyou, he made Zhao Yu crown prince. Zhao Yu accepted the edict, succeeded to the throne, changed the yuan to Xianchun, and reigned for 10 years.
16. Emperor Gong Zhao Xian
Son of Duzong. Succeeded to the throne and established, changed to Yuan Deyou for one year. In the first month of the second year of Deyou, the Yuan soldiers invaded the south, pursued and killed the Southern Song Dynasty court, and fought until they reached the Lingao pavilion mountain, and finally the mountain was exhausted, and there was no way but to surrender. After reigning for one year, he was made the Duke of Yingguo by the Yuan Lord.
17. Duanzong Zhao Yan
Emperor Duzong's son-in-law. Emperor Gong's older brother was given the title of King of Ji. In May of the second year of Deyou, Chen Yizhong, in the midst of the war, established Zhao Fu in Fuzhou and changed his name to Yuan Jingyan. Due to the pursuit of the Yuan soldiers, he fled to Guangdong, and finally in the South China Sea in Wuchuan County, Guangdong, he fell into the water and died of an illness, only 9 years old, and reigned for a total of two years.
18. Emperor Zhao Fu
Emperor Duzong's son and Duanzong's younger brother. Succeed to the throne and stand, change yuan Xiangxing. In the second year of Xiangxing, due to the pursuit of the Yuan soldiers, he fled to Yashan (Chixi County, Guangdong), and the Southern Song Dynasty and the Yuan Dynasty fought a decisive battle at Yashan, known in history as the "Battle of Yashan Sea". As a result, the Song army was defeated by the Yuan army, and the Yuan general Zhang Hongfan led an army to surround Yashan, and The left minister Lu Xiufu carried Zhao Fu on his back and threw himself into the sea at Yashan and died, and 100,000 soldiers and civilians also threw themselves into the sea and martyred the country. He reigned for two years and died in the Song Dynasty.
