The long-tailed broad-billed bird in the Field Manual of Chinese Birds No. 605 (scientific name: Psarisomus dalhousiae) is a bird of the family Finches in the family Broadbillaceae, with a body length of about 25 cm, and is a green broadbill.

The long wedge-shaped tail is blue , the throat and face are yellow , and the crown and nape are black. The wings are black with prominent blue patches.
There are small blue spots on the top of the head and a yellow spot behind the eyes. Sub-adult birds are mostly green.
Groups are active in the middle layers of the forest, sometimes mixed with other species. It inhabits shrubs or small trees in the shade of the forest, and is not good at throating and jumping.
The diet is dominated by insects and other arthropods, but also small vertebrates and fruits.
It is found in the foothills of the Himalayas, southern China, Southeast Asia, Sumatra and Borneo. Listed in China's national level II key protected animals.
It is included in the "List of Wild Animals under National Key Protection in China" at the second level.
