DeRozan scored three no-gos, and the Bulls lost to the Knicks for the first time of the season

In the NBA regular season, the Knicks beat the Bulls 104-103 away from home, sending the Bulls the first defeat of the season.

Lavin and Vucevic both hit three-pointers in the opening, and then the Bulls started with a full score in response to a wave of 14-0 to take a 16-6 lead. DeRozan and Vucevic scored consecutive points, Ando Caruso scored five straight points as the Bulls regained the lead. The two sides then alternated points, with the Knicks scoring consecutive points at the end of the quarter to take a 27-25 lead.

In the second quarter, Burks scored three points and Rose scored consecutive points, and the Bulls again led by eight points. Ball scored consecutive points to stop the bleeding after Lavin and Pavey scored each, and the Bulls trailed by only 2 points. Randall then missed two free throws, and the Bulls had a chance to kill in the last 4 seconds! But in the final moments DeRozan missed the shot and the Bulls lost.

Randle had 13 points, 16 rebounds, nine assists and 1 steal on 3-of-11 of the game, Walker 21 points, Barrett 20 points, Fournier 4-of-14 and Rose 12 points. The Bulls side Ravin had 25 points and six rebounds, Vucevic had 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists, Caruso had 10 points, and Ball had 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists on 2-of-8 shooting.
