She is Shen Ying, a talented woman in the literary circles during the Republic of China period.

Shen Sakura's original name was Chen Ying, but she changed her name to Shen Sakura because she loved Japanese literature. In 1907, Shen Ying was born in a cultured middle-class family in Shandong Province, her father studied in the Yang Academy, and her second uncle was an authentic new school figure, it was under the influence of her father and second uncle that Shen Ying received new ideas from an early age, which made her independent and strong character.
Literary achievements
Shen Sakura is a novelist, and although the storyline of her novels is simple, it is not contrived, and even today, these novels still read vividly. Shen Ying is also an essayist, who published the "Shen Sakura Prose Collection" at his own expense, which was later republished after it was out of print and changed to "The Sound of Spring". Shen Ying's highest achievement is translation, she has translated more than 20 novels and essays by European and American masters. Among them, her translated novel collection "Letter from a Strange Woman" caused a strong response after publication, and the book is still bestseller in Taiwan and overseas after 30 years, which can be said to be the definitive work of this famous book.
Married life
Shen Sakura has had two marriages.
In 1926, Shen Ying's original Shanghai University was closed, so she transferred to the Department of Chinese of Fudan University for loan. The playwright Hong Shen encouraged Shen Ying to join the Fudan Drama Club because she could speak Mandarin. During this time, Shen Ying met the dramatist Ma Yanxiang, and the two soon married, but the marriage did not last for several years and divorced at the end of 1930.
After the divorce, Shen Ying met the talented Liang Zongdai in Beijing, a legendary poet and translator known as the "Chinese Byron". The two people with similar interests and aspirations soon became married, and after marriage, Shen Sakura chose to teach her husband and children at home in order to support her husband's career, and few works came out, and the two soon had two lovely daughters.
Shen Ying and Liang Zongdai
However, in the 9th year after marriage, Liang Zongdai still cheated. In 1944, when Liang Zongdai returned to his hometown of Baise to deal with his father's funeral, he became acquainted with the local Cantonese opera actor Gan Shaosu. Gan Shaosu's outstanding performance and tragic life of being occupied by warlords aroused the heroic dream in Liang Zongdai's heart, and Liang Zongdai quickly raised 30,000 yuan to "redeem" Gan Shaosu. The peach-colored news of the merry talent and the pear garden drama soon reached Shen Ying's ears, when Shen Ying was taking care of the child at home, and her stomach was pregnant with their third child, but in the face of Liang Zongdai's betrayal, Shen Ying did not hesitate at all, she packed up her own baggage, and left home with two young daughters with a big belly.
Before leaving home, Shen Ying sent a letter to Liang Zongdai, who was far away in Baise, and the letter only wrote one sentence: Never see you again in this life! At this time, Liang Zongdai understood Shen Ying's decision, but it was already too late.
Raising three children alone
After leaving Chongqing, Shen Ying went to Shanghai, where she taught in various schools during the day, cooked for the children at noon, and continued to work after the children went to bed at night, and her career and children became the whole of her life. It was a painful and happy time, because she could finally devote herself to the writing and translation she loved again.
In 1948, Shen Ying left Shanghai with her children to go to Taiwan, a decision that was blocked by Liang Zongdai, who had been childless for many years, but Shen Ying only found it funny, and she resolutely went to Taiwan despite the obstruction. In the days in Taiwan, as the children grow up, Shen Ying finally ushered in a relaxed time, she asked friends to do handicrafts, and the days were full and happy. In 1967, Shen Ying used the money her daughter gave her 60th birthday to publish her translation of "Letter from a Strange Woman" at her own expense, which is still a bestseller even now.
Shen Cherry Blossom
In 1982, Shen Ying returned to China from New York and met many old friends, but she did not want to see Liang Zongdai, and the "no more seeing each other" said was not to see each other again. Perhaps influenced by their mother's personality, their youngest son, Liang Siming, the third child That Shen Ying was pregnant with when she left home, was also reluctant to see his father from beginning to end. In this way, Liang Zongdai did not see Shen Ying and his young son again until his death, and a so-called heroic rescue made him pay a huge price.
Shen Sakura is an independent and brave and strong woman, she has her own career, not to family and love as the whole; she dares to love and dare to hate, does not love to leave without entanglement and does not cry and let go; she is an excellent mother, raising 3 children alone to grow up. Such women are still role models for all women to learn from even now!
