There is a famous song "Hate Impermanence" in "Dream of the Red Chamber", "Joy and glory are just right, hate impermanence has arrived." "Glory and wealth are no match for the change of misfortune and happiness, and life and death have a destiny."

This is all about the impermanence of life, as we Chinese ancients said: people have bad luck and bad luck.

Dong Zhongshu of the Han Dynasty said: The hanger is at the door, and the he is in Lu.

This means that if the mourner goes to the door, then the person who congratulates will go to the inner door. Sometimes the truth is just so absurd.

Life is impermanent, and you never know what's going to happen to you next.

The story of Han Xin's crotch humiliation is known to everyone. At that time, Han Xin was poor and needed to be helped by his mother when he ate.

A butcher said to Han Xin: Han Xin, although you are tall and like to carry swords, your courage is very small. Do you dare to stab me with your sword? If you don't dare, go under my crotch.

Han Xin really drilled through the butcher's crotch. A few years later, Han Xin became a prince, and the butcher was still a butcher. This is impermanence.

So, don't look down on anyone because you don't know what's going to happen in the future.

At the low point, it will not give up on itself. For he understands: all things are impermanent.

Guo Ziyi quelled the chaos of Anshi, resisted the invasion of Tubo, and spent his life fighting horses, and had the merit of recreating the Tang Dynasty. Emperor Tang dynasty enfeoffed him as the King of Fenyang and built the Fenyang Palace. After the construction began, Guo Ziyi often went to the construction site to supervise the work.

One day, he instructed a mason who built the wall that the foundation of the wall should be strong. The mason said: "Please rest assured Wang Ye, my family's three generations of grandchildren are all masons, I don't know how many mansions have been built, but I have only seen the house change owners, and I have not seen any house collapse." ”

Hearing these words, Guo Ziyi left with a stick and never went to supervise the work again. On the day of the completion of the palace, Guo Ziyi set up a banquet to celebrate, and the guests were either rich or expensive. Curiously, the craftsmen of the house were also invited to attend, and the banquet was set at the top, and the banquet of Guo Ziyi's nephew was set at the lower head.

Some guests were puzzled, and Guo Ziyi pointed to the house-building craftsmen, "They are building houses." He also pointed to his nephews, "They sell houses." ”

The world is uncertain, rich for only three generations, and sure enough, only forty years after Guo Ziyi's death, the Faxiong Temple was built on the site of the former bustling and lively Fenyang Royal Palace. The poet Zhang Bi passed by here and wrote a poem in his emotion:

The old house of Fenyang is now a temple, and there is a song and dance building at that time.

For forty years, the carriages and horses have been extinct, and the ancient locusts are deep and the alleys are twilight and sad.

In February 2001, two monks from Nepal and Tibet presented an unforgettable display of Asian religious art at the Vager Gallery in Ackland, New York, a world-renowned art center.

On a blue table about 1.5 meters long and 5 meters long and wide, the two men first sketched the image of the Buddha with a paintbrush in the center, and then outlined the castle, forest, pasture, river, and earth around the Buddha in turn, and then from the center to the surrounding area, filled the pattern with various colored sand grains.

As time went on, the paintings became fuller, and two months later, a beautiful city of Buddha appeared before the eyes of the world. Peaceful Buddha, solemn stupas, magnificent castles, green pastures, shepherds on horseback, quiet cattle and sheep... Just when the surrounding crowd was reveling in the wonderful painting scene, the two monks suddenly took out two small shovels, and in the exclamation of the crowd, they shoveled up the sand grains expressionlessly, and in an instant, all the beautiful dust returned to dust, and the soil returned to the soil...

The process was very short, so brief that the crowd of onlookers stood still and overwhelmed, but their eyes were painful, confused, and some even shed tears.

Ignoring the gaze of the others, the two monks picked up the glass bottle containing the sand grains, went to the creek outside the painting studio, and poured all the sand grains into the stream. The beautiful paintings leave no trace, as if nothing had ever happened.

The prosperity turned out to be a bunch of sand, and this bunch of sand also melted into the water and soil, and there was no trace of it anymore.

Nothing in the world can exist forever, everything comes from causes and conditions, and the causes disappear. What can you control in this impermanent world? Since you can't cling to it, don't cling to it. Cherish when it's time to cherish it, and let go when it's time to let go.

"Cai Gen Tan" Cloud: Spoiled and not alarmed, watch the flowers blossom and fall before the court; go to stay unintentional, look at the clouds in the sky. To things and things, to fame and profit, to gain or dislike, not to worry about loss, not to be insulted, and to leave no intention. Only by going with nature can we maintain peace and tranquility of the mind in this impermanent world.

Not clinging to perfection, the full moon is lacking, the day is moving, the flowers are full, and the water is overflowing. Li Mian said in "Half and Half Song": "Drinking is half drunk, and the flowers are half time to be partial." "The wine is slightly drunk, and the flowers are half blooming, but it is the best state."

Lao Tzu said: "The husband is not profitable, so he can hide and become a new one." "People with the Tao do not pursue consummation, so they can go to the old and save the new."
