In 1963, Hong Kong Luxury Hawks produced "The Dragon Slayer in the Sky", played by Zhang Ying as Zhang Cuishan, and Bai Yan as Yin Susu.
The first film and television of "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon" mainly focuses on the story of Zhang Cuishan and Yin Susu.

In 1965, Yangtze River Film Company produced "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon", directed by Yang Gongliang. This remake is not well-known in the public version of "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon", but it is a remake that is more loyal to the original.
The first two versions were shot in black and white, and it was not until 1978 that Shaw Company filmed the first color film version of "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon", which was divided into two episodes, with Er Dongsheng playing Zhang Wuji, Jing Li playing Zhao Min, and Yu An'an playing Zhou Zhiruo.

In 1986, Hong Kong TVB remade "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon" again, which was played by Leung Chao-wai as Zhang Wujie and Lai Meixian as Zhao Min. At that time, when she played this role, Li Meixian was only 16 years old, which perfectly interpreted Zhao Min's eccentricity. Although Ma Jingtao has been named in recent years, his acting skills in the early days are still very worthy of praise. Zhang Wuji, played by him, is also regarded as a classic.
But because Ye Tong's "New White" is too impressive and the shape is not flattering, it always makes people think that Zhao Min is a man dressed as a woman. But the later styling is right, and Zhao Min, played by Ye Tong, is also trying to turn the tide.
In 2000, TVB remade "The Dragon Slayer in the Sky" again, a catchy song "The Wind Rises". The 37-year-old Wu Qihua played Zhang Wujie at an "advanced age", although he was complained about by many people, but in the later stage, he still won the affirmation of the audience with his superb acting skills. Maybe this year's actors don't look like they did in the past, each with their own characteristics. The new actors are all one-line eyebrows, big eyes, round faces. It makes many episodes lose their recognition.
It is completely impossible to see who is the main actor and who is the supporting role. In this version, Zhou Haimei, who once played Zhou Zhiruo, played the exterminator Tai, and the opening song also followed the "Sword Like a Dream" in the 94 version of "Yitian Slaughtering Dragon", but it still could not save the drama from being silent.
