Barca and Sergio Aguero agree on a transfer
The Argentine shooter will sign with the Rossandre until 2023!
The 32-year-old debuted at Atlético Argentina and moved to Atletico Madrid in La Liga in 2006 for 23 million euros, making it the most expensive transfer for the Sheets at the time.
In the 2007–2008 season, Aguero finished Third in La Liga top scorers with 19 goals and was named Best Latin American Player. Aguero played for the Sheets for five seasons, scoring 100 goals, delivering 46 assists and winning one Europa League and one European Super Cup with the team.
Aguero landed in the Premier League in July 2011 to play for Manchester City. In his 10 years in the Premier League, he made a total of 390 appearances for the Blue Moon, scoring 260 goals and providing 74 assists. Without a doubt, Aguero is arguably one of the most successful strikers in Premier League history. During his time at Manchester City, Aguero won five Premier League titles, 1 FA Cup, 3 Community Shields and 6 League Cups in 10 years.
It is worth mentioning that Aguero and Messi have been teammates of the national team for many years. The two formed a "Rose" group in the national team and together in 2005 they lifted the U20 World Cup championship trophy and won the Olympic men's gold medal together in 2008. Aguero played in 97 games for the Pampas Eagles, scoring 41 goals and providing 17 assists.
