It turns out that DJs are "leaders"

It turns out that DJs are "leaders"

Li Tingting (Netherlands)

Because I recently wrote an article about the Dutch music festival, I went to Amsterdam last night to participate in the performance of the famous DJ Paul Kalkbrenner. I have known about electronic music for a long time, and I have known many DJs, but I have not actually participated in the field. Once upon a time, I didn't quite understand electronic sounds. For example, I don't quite understand people telling me that a DJ is very creative. I have always felt that all electronic sounds are similar, often a song is played in a loop, and the three words "creativity" are not easy to understand. For example, an insider can hear a Dutch, German or British style... When I interviewed before writing the article, I listened to it in the clouds, which was too abstract.

Last night my music editor took me on a hands-on experience. I have to say that the charm of electronic music is that you have to really immerse yourself in it to understand it. AFAS in Amsterdam is estimated to house tens of thousands of people. Everyone has enough space to stand up straight, and everyone around them dances to the music. A beer for one person was standard, and almost everyone was in a state of crazy swing, but everyone was friendly. I was short, and in a large group of Dutch, it was a tragedy. But everyone around me hugged me and pushed me to the first row.

Music is originally one of the original expressions of human emotions. In fact, it doesn't matter if you don't understand it, give yourself to the most authentic emotions, and naturally integrate into it. At this time, whether we know or don't know people, we all dance together. At this moment, I understood a little bit of DJ's creativity. In addition to the music itself, he is the leader who leads tens of thousands of people to fluctuate emotionally, and the ignition is all under his control. You know, electronic music was first a kind of black underground music in the Netherlands, and it has developed to this day and has become popular all over the world. It can stimulate the passion in your body, which may be the charm of electric sound.

On the way back, there is still a quiet and distant green plain outside the car window, cattle and sheep are grazing, and the river is trickling. Being in the Netherlands sometimes feels like a dream. It is both a land of tranquility and a paradise of restlessness.
