Another outstanding national county party secretary in Sichuan Province is expected to take up his new post.

On October 26, the Organization Department of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee released a pre-appointment announcement for cadres on the Sichuan Organization Work Network. Among them, Li Rong, the current secretary of the Xingjing County Party Committee and a second-level inspector, intends to nominate himself as a candidate for the deputy post of the municipal (state) leadership team.

According to the official resume, Li Rong, female, Han ethnicity, born in July 1970, joined the Communist Party of China in 1991, joined the work in 1992, and holds a bachelor's degree in education from Sichuan Normal University.

After graduating from Sichuan Normal University in 1992, Li Rong taught at Ya'an Normal School and Ya'an Middle School for many years. In December 2002, Li Rong entered her career and became a member of the Standing Committee of the Hanyuan County CPC Committee and the director of the Propaganda Department.

Since December 2004, Li Rong has served as a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Ya'an Municipal Bureau of Culture, a member and deputy director of the Party Committee of the Municipal Bureau of Culture and New Broadcasting, a deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, a deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, a director of the Municipal Civilization Office, a deputy secretary general of the Municipal Government (at the level of a county magistrate), and a member of the Party Group of the Municipal Government Office.

In October 2016, Li Rong came to Xingjing County to serve as county magistrate, and two years later as county party secretary.

Xingjing ancient known as Yandao, located in the central part of Ya'an City, the western part of the Sichuan Basin, 160 kilometers away from Chengdu, is a key expansion area of Ya'an City, but also an important node connecting the ethnic minority areas of Gansu, Albania and Liang and the bridgehead of radiation Panxi and Kangzang, the county covers an area of 1781 square kilometers, has jurisdiction over 1 street office, 11 townships, and a total population of 153,000.
