Lippo (00226-HK) announced that it made a profit of RMB99.835 million for the six months ended 30 September 2017, down 67.56% from a profit of RMB307.8 million for the same period in 2016. Earnings per share were 20 cents. An interim dividend of 3 cents per share is paid.

Revenue was 1.263 billion yuan, compared with 1.421 billion yuan in the same period of 2016. The decrease in revenue was mainly due to lower income from the food business and the sale of properties. The food business is the Group's main source of revenue, accounting for 92% of the total revenue.
