Where is the original copy of Nguyen Phuc's "Pu'er Tea Record"?

In 1826, Nguyen Phuc's "Records of Pu'er Tea" has the status of the "History of Pu'er Tea", and its role is the instruction manual of Pu'er Tea. Most of the tea friends who like Pu'er tea have read it, and tea friends who have not read it should read it well. The question is who is the original and who is the real text? Reading for half a day is an imitation of the text is a fake text, just like drinking too much Iceland, the old return, the old class chapter, not stained with the real side, let people upset and sad! Tea can be said to be true against the heart, but the article can be verified. Today, the author provides the original text for everyone to examine, and will translate the series of interpretations in the next issue.

Nguyen Phuc wrote a lot in his lifetime, and there was no shortage of Hongwen masterpieces, such as the Records of the Ancient Golden Stones of Southern Yunnan and the Supplement to filial piety and righteousness, but they were not famous. However, the small article "Pu'er Tea Record", 170 years later, has become a famous article for the population. It is true: all his lifelong hard work, Hongwen's masterpiece is not heavy; he has no intention of inserting willows, and the "Pu'er Tea Record" is known to passers-by.

Because of his love for Pu'er tea, he repeatedly read the "Pu'er Tea Record" written by Ruan Fu in the Qing Dynasty when he was 25 years old. This article is 818 words throughout, systematically introducing the origin of Pu'er tea, the six major tea mountains, the tribute tea case book, the picking time and the corresponding name, and even praised by some people as the first proposer of "yellow pieces" and "old tea heads". This article is small and complete, and systematically summarizes the main points of the record of Yunnan Pu'er tea before Nguyen Phuc.

This time combing through the historical records of Pu'er tea after the Tang Dynasty, in order to translate and cross-interpret, I repeatedly pondered and examined Ruan Fu's "Pu'er Tea Record", and I felt a lot. First, irresponsible online articles are not shallow! A leader, everyone rushes to copy, no one questions, no one corrects mistakes, in order to spread falsehoods, mistakes again and again. Second, people are very impetuous at the moment, it is difficult to calm down and think, and they will not suspect that → consult the information → examination. Third, it is no wonder that the current situation of Pu'er tea is chaotic.

I. Network Text:

(Online article "Pu'er Tea", screenshot in "Baidu Encyclopedia")

The "Pu'er Tea Record" and its translation found on the Internet were copied and entered incorrectly, punctuation and sentence breaking errors, and the translation was far-fetched.

II. Books and Texts:

Deng Lao's article, I don't know where it came from? There are few word errors, but the punctuation of broken sentences is misleading, and it is not in context to understand it, and it is easy to produce ambiguity.

III. True Text:

Although it took a lot of trouble, I finally found the full text of Lang Zhongyi Zheng Ruan Fu's "Pu'er Tea Record" in the middle of the "Yunnan Historical Material Series" edited by Fang Guoyu, "pioneer and founder of the study of local history and southwest ethnic history in Yunnan" and "Nanzhong Taidou and Yunnan History Giant".

Fourth, contrast and discernment

In fact, it is not difficult to discern the innocence of Nguyen Phuc's Pu'er Tea. Because Nguyen Phuc has no field research, mostly citations, only listed from the recorded classics, a smorgasbord-style patchwork combination, rarely has its own opinions, which is also the characteristic of this article "Pu'er Tea Record". Find the source of the quoted text, and you can see it at a glance. Such as the network text:

【Text】 In the sixteenth year of shunzhi of this dynasty, Ping yunnan, the chieftains were attached, rebelled and rebelled, and were subordinate to the Yuanjiang Tongjue, and set up Pu'er Province in the six major tea mountains and places where Pu'er belonged. And set up a division defense Simao Tongzhi, stationed in Simao. Simao was one hundred and twenty miles away from the house.

[Note] "Rebellion" → "judgment", "compilation" → "iteration", "and divide the defense to set up Simao Tongzhi, stationed in Simao "→" and set up separate defenses. Simao tongzhi stationed in Simao". Different words and broken sentences are not only different meanings, but history has also been tampered with. Based on 1737 (the second year of Qianlong), Ni Mo's "Biography of the Dianyun Calendar" in 12 volumes (the first monograph on yunnan local history in China's chronicle). Volume 12 (The online article is quoted as "Volume 2" again, a master of traveling through time and space!) on page 601. See screenshot below:

Another example is the tribute tea record, the network text:

【Text】 Fu also checked the "Tribute Tea" case book, knowing that the tea that was paid tribute every year was for example, under the copper interest of the Treasurer of the Cloth Administration, and the silver was taken by the Simao Hall, forwarded for procurement, and purchased for tea, tin bottles, satin boxes, wooden boxes and other fees.

【Text】 It enters the hands of the merchant, and the outer fine and the inner coarse is called the transformation of tea; when it is kneaded, the person who pre-selects the inner strength of the yellow and does not roll, the name is Jin Yuetian; the one who consolidates but does not understand, the name is tea. The taste is extremely thick and rare.

Note: "Jinyutian" → "Golden Moon Day", "No Change" → "Don't Understand", and Punctuation Breaks.

A comparison and the results are known. I hope that tea friends will also use the comparison method when distinguishing the authenticity of tea. Don't be confused, and don't be partial to belief! Ask senior tea friends with good tea virtue for advice. Believe in your mouth, your senses, and your own tea, only in this way can you not drown yourself in the deepest water!
