On the afternoon of October 30, 2021, the Professional Degree Education Center of the School of Management successfully held an alumni salon activity with the theme of "Growth, Talent, Achievement" in the second conference room of Building A of the Economic Management Building. More than 50 people attended the event, including Zhang Yongqing, Deputy Dean of the School of Management and Deputy Director of the Professional Degree Education Center, He Jianjia, Vice Dean, Che Liping, Director of MPA Program, Ye Chunming, Director of MEM Program, Sun Yingjun, Director of MF Program, Wei Jingfu, Director of MIB Program, as well as tutors, alumni and students of professional degree programs. The sub-theme of the MBA program is: integration of industry and education. During the event, MBA host Zhu Shourui, MBA alumni Zhang Feng, Lin Jingchao, MIB alumni He Bojiang, and MPAcc alumni Gao Zhihong discussed the sub-theme of industry-education integration. The alumni shared and exchanged their work experience on the workplace, entrepreneurial environment and market supply and demand relationship under the current epidemic situation. Alumni said: In terms of teaching, students can apply book knowledge to work practice, and in the process of practice, they will find new problems, and then bring new problems to the classroom, and then discuss and share with classmates, whether it is the theoretical knowledge of textbooks or work practice, students will benefit a lot. The sub-theme of the MPA project is: Synergistic Development. During the event, MPA host Lv Qichao, MPA alumni Xin Yejun, Liu Jue, Yan Rui, Zhu Xinsheng, and MF alumni Liu Jiawei discussed the sub-themes of coordinated development. Alumni said that coordinated development focuses on solving imbalances in the development process and strives to enhance the integrity and synergy of development. Under the guidance of coordinated development, the alumni shared their views and understandings on the government-enterprise collaboration in the process of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, the coordination of the eight major systems of China's manned space project, the policy coordination in Pudong to build a leading area for socialist modernization, the coordinated development between enterprises and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and the integration of development to have more competitive advantages. At the same time, it is proposed that they need to combine their respective advantages with the central work of the local government and the development advantages of local characteristic industries, and encourage everyone to actively participate in social work and devote themselves to the development of different regions, and everyone helps each other and develops in a coordinated manner on their respective platforms. MPA projects are discussed on a topical basis

The sub-theme of the MEM project is "Engineering Management under the "Double Carbon" goal. MEM sub-host Yang Xiaoguang, MEM alumni Sun Lijun, Zhu Gang, Qi Haipeng, and MIB alumnus Lei Qiqi discussed project management under the sub-theme "double carbon" goal. Alumni said: Under the background of the national "double carbon" grand strategy, what kind of opportunities and challenges will the field of engineering management face? From the direction of industrial intelligence, the alumni introduced how to help energy conservation and emission reduction, help enterprises to transform and upgrade intelligent manufacturing, and analyze how to carry out green production, how to carry out sustainable development and how to put it into practice from the theoretical knowledge level of engineering and construction. Alumni pointed out that from the direction of enterprise digital management to analyze how to achieve the "double carbon" goal, different fields will have different insights, the collision of ideas can produce a spark of wisdom, hoping to continue to conduct in-depth research on the basis of the existing knowledge field, empowering all aspects of our enterprises in the whole process of operation.

MEM projects are discussed on a topical basis

At the end of the event, Vice President Zhang Yongqing made a brief summary of three sub-themes: the MBA sub-forum focused on the core theme of "industry-education integration", and alumni combined their respective development realities, from "teaching to production" (school learning to innovation and entrepreneurship), and then from "production to teaching" (enterprise practice to school teachers), profoundly interpreting the "integration of industry and education". The MPA sub-forum focused on the core theme of "coordinated development", and the alumni combined their respective development experiences, from the social synergy of rural revitalization to the systematic collaboration of aerospace, which profoundly explained the sense of responsibility of public managers and public administrators. The MEM sub-forum focused on the core theme of "Engineering Management in the Context of 'Double Carbon'", and alumni shared their new thinking from the social responsibility and professional ethics of engineering management in combination with their respective work practices. The vivid and profound content of the cases made our guests and teachers feel their achievements, and also experienced their maturity and growth, which benefited everyone a lot.

The alumni spoke freely, the atmosphere was relaxed and lively, and the whole event lasted for nearly two hours.
