On October 25-26, the Series of White Crane Migration and Flight Escort Activities of the National Bird Ring History Center and the International Crane Foundation "Escort of Ten Thousand Feathers returning to the South and Thousands of Miles" was launched in Zhenlai County, Jilin Province, and Hu Ming, deputy director of the Nanchang Forestry Bureau and member of the party group, was invited to participate.
In order to further promote the exchange and cooperation between the wintering, resting and breeding sites of the white crane, and improve the public's sense of hometown pride and protection awareness on the migration route, the National Bird Ring Center and the International Crane Foundation have jointly cooperated with a number of conservation agencies on the migration route to tell the story of cranes, interpret the mystery of migration, pass on the concept of protection and share management experience through a combination of online and offline methods.
Nanchang has important white crane wintering grounds such as Nanji Wetland Reserve and Five-Star White Crane Community, which support the largest number of white crane wintering groups.
