On May 22, 2021, the "13th Advanced Forum on Thoracic Tumor Standardization and the 5th China Thoracic Surgery Researcher Summit Forum" hosted by the Beijing Oncology Society and hosted by the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences was successfully held at the Beijing International Hotel.
The Department of Thoracic Surgery of cancer hospital of The Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences is the first national clinical key specialty in the field of thoracic surgery; in the national specialty rankings compiled and released by the Institute of Hospital Management of Fudan University, it has maintained the first place in thoracic surgery for eleven consecutive years; since the 2015 Ranking of Scientific and Technological Influence released by the Institute of Information Of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, it has continued to maintain the first place in the national thoracic surgery; it is also the advocate and promoter of the standardized diagnosis and treatment of thoracic tumors in China, and has held the "Advanced Forum on Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment of Thoracic Tumors" for thirteen consecutive years. It continues to promote the progress and development of standardized diagnosis and treatment of thoracic tumors in China. The conference gathered authoritative thoracic surgery experts, and the participants actively shared and discussed, and the academic ideas collided, and practicality and cutting-edge were at the same time.
