At 9:00 a.m. on October 31, the Third Congress of the Communist Party of China in Kangding Held its Third Plenary Session.
Comrade Yan Lei presided over the meeting. The executive chairmen of the conference, Wang Qiang, Luo Xiuzhen, Zheng Jianying, Yuan Wei, Xie Hongxia, Xie Manli, Lai Wenbin, Jian Shumei, Yan Lei, Xue Zhen, and Dai Long, were seated in the front row of the rostrum. The meeting read out the "Election Measures for the Third Congress of the Communist Party of China in Kangding City", the list of directors and supervisors, the list of total voters and tellers, and the list of candidates for members of the municipal party committee, alternate members, and members of the municipal discipline inspection commission.
All the deputies elected by secret ballot the members and alternate members of the Third Committee of the CPC Kangding City and the members of the Third Discipline Inspection Committee of the CPC Kangding City.
