A strange woman

author:Downwind

In the smallest room on the ground floor of the building where I lived, there lived a woman, and I don't know how old she was, and she looked like she was in her thirties. The woman was tall, dark-faced, with short hair and disheveled hair.

Although I often bumped into her up and down the stairs, I never spoke to her, and of course she never spoke to me. So, for a long time, I didn't know what her last name was, was she married? Why did she live alone upstairs? Previously, this building was a swing building, and when the house was tight, it was for those who had just married. Now, it has become a place where some old men and women live.

The young man was hers.

She also didn't work, and in previous years she used to walk around the street with a radio while listening. She didn't have a job, and an old lady upstairs opposite her had advised her to find a cleaning job and earn a few hundred yuan a month (we are in the old mining area, the wages of ground workers are very low, and cleaning is only a few hundred yuan a month), and she listened and said, "I can do that kind of work in this capacity." The old lady upstairs opposite was choked up and didn't squeak.

A few years ago, a man in his thirties used to come to her in the evening. The boy looked pretty good, white, with thick curly hair, riding a big motorcycle.

When the woman saw the man arrive, her face was full of smiles, which was very different from her usual appearance.

During that time, the man came often. The woman looked at the door of the building in the evening.

After that, the woman's belly gradually grew larger. However, she still lived downstairs and still cooked and ate alone.

During the summer vacation, I went back to my hometown. When I returned from summer vacation, I found that the woman's belly was small. But I hadn't seen her children or heard the cries of children in her house. I wondered, where is the child in her belly? Alive or gone?

It wasn't until more than a year later that she was once seen leading a little girl who had just moved, followed by a woman in her fifties. I kind of understood that after this woman gave birth to a child, the child was carried back by the man and raised.

One colleague, her fellow countryman, often talks about this woman. Her father turned out to be an accountant for a district team. The accountants of the district team are very popular, not tired, and make a lot of money. Many years ago, I went to help a co-worker cut wheat, but when it was too late, they finished cutting. He had a lot of drinks with a man in the restaurant, and the two came back on motorcycles and crashed into a tree and died. At that time, the woman was in junior high school, and she was stimulated by her father's death, and she had some mental problems. A few years later, her mother developed cancer again and died not long after.

She also has a younger brother. Her parents' house became her brother's, and she lived upstairs.

Colleagues said that her mother-in-law bought a house in the dormitory, but she did not know why, the woman did not go to live. I don't know if her in-laws won't let her live or if she won't live on her own.

Colleagues said that the man worked outside the home and did not give her the money he earned. I don't know if this is true or not, anyway, I haven't seen the man come for a long time.

Colleagues said that the mine gave her a low guarantee, do not know how much money a month? However, the money was taken by her brother and was not given to her, but sometimes some noodles were bought for her. Colleagues said that the woman ate two meals a day.

It sounds like this woman is very pitiful, but I can't pity her at all. I don't know what her relationship is with the man? Is the marriage registered? If you get married, you go to your in-laws' house, and you do whatever you want?

If you don't go to your in-laws' house, find something to do in the dormitory, earn some money, and don't know that you are outside all day long.

I felt that this woman was not having a brain problem, but was too lazy.
