Qinghai News Network Damei Qinghai Client News August is the most beautiful season in the Gagalo grassland.
In the distance, the sobucha leaves are surrounded by clouds and mist at the top of the mountain range, the slopes are verdant, and the countless silver chains at the foot of the mountains branch out on the vast meadows.
On August 11, 2020, the first youth volunteer service team in Zhiduo County, the Sobuchaye Water Source Protection Youth Volunteer Service Team in Dasheng Village, Colorful Township, was officially established.
Bahangaro, a native of The Village of Dasang and the initiator and head of the service team, remembers the depletion of some of the sources of the Necha River. As a traditional livestock county, grassland and cattle and sheep are the source of livelihood for herders in Zhiduo County, and in the 1970s and 1980s, the number of cattle and sheep increased sharply, and overgrazing led to the deterioration of grassland ecology, desertification of grassland, and water pollution problems. In addition, the rampant poaching has also exacerbated the contradiction between man and nature.
In an exhibition room of the Dasheng Village Committee, hundreds of photos are displayed, covering natural scenery, plateau flora and fauna, folk culture, etc., but the most conspicuous is a few photos of animal skeletons. "You see, this is the carcass of a wild yak photographed in 1996 in the Silver Kasei Mountains." Jiang Yongcairen, another head of the service team, said: "It is not unusual to photograph animal skeletons in the plateau area, but as the snow line continues to move up, we have photographed some very primitive hunting tools, which shows that human beings have been destroying nature for a long time." ”
In 2004, in order to protect the water source and protect the fragile ecological environment of the homeland, the herders in Dasheng Village spontaneously organized a volunteer service team, which is the predecessor of the Sobuchaye Water Source Protection Youth Volunteer Service Team. At first, only a few young people from the village joined, but as everyone gradually realized the importance of protecting the environment, more and more people joined. Bajungaro said.
In 2004, the ecological protection of the Sanjiangyuan area was still in its infancy, but the herders in Dasheng Village have been monitoring water sources, protecting the environment, collecting and sorting out folk culture since then... The service team has developed from the original 4-person group to the current 96-person team, and is divided into 10 groups such as photography, tourism, art, traditional culture, office, etc., including the elderly, young people, children, cadres, teachers, and students.
Every year in the spring and autumn, it is the time to monitor the water source, and at this time, the team members will regroup according to the monitoring area and route, and then take the necessary tools to embark on a dangerous but unknown and anticipated monitoring road.
In Bahangaro's impression, the monitoring in March 2017 was the one he remembered the most. "After days of heavy snowfall and closed mountain roads, but water source monitoring during dry periods is imminent, so my experienced teammate Zanza and I have to embark on the monitoring road again." The first day there was no danger, the next day was troublesome, around 14 o'clock the car fell into the snow pit can not come out, can not see a person around, we just began to dig with a shovel, the more digging the car sunk deeper, and then changed to the hand planer, to the night is even more cold, there is a feeling of despair, until about 4 o'clock in the morning to pull the car out, come back to the hand to take off a layer of skin. Bajungaro said that similar situations have been encountered by the service team members, and now they will also encounter brown bears and wolves, but the players have never complained and flinched.
Casually open a 2020 water source monitoring record book in the exhibition room, which clearly records the name of the water source, the monitoring personnel, the monitoring time, the latitude and longitude of the water source, the altitude, the mainstream, the yin flow, the yang flow, the change of the water spring/water source situation (large, small, unchanged), the place name of the water source, the water source story and so on in Chinese and Tibetan.
According to reports, the service team has observed and recorded a total of 1337 water sources near the Niecha River, and through observation and protection, to achieve the purpose of restoration and purification.
Qiu Ying Cai Ren and Luo Nan Cai Ren are both from Da Sheng Village, although the age difference is not large, but the life trajectory is completely different.
Qiu Yingcairen did not go to school, has been herding at home, and has not gone far; and Luonan Cairen not only went to school, but also was admitted to the Northwest University for Nationalities and taught himself photography and videography techniques. On August 11, 2019, because they all joined the service team, they met and became good partners on the road to entrepreneurship.
The service team is more like a mutual help group that brings everyone together because of environmental protection. Qiu Yingcairen said: "After joining the volunteer service team, Luo Nan Cairen became my photography teacher, teaching me step by step how to use the camera, how to shoot scenes, and how to take photos. In October 2019, the two of us opened an art service studio in the county, and I found my own life value and future development direction. ”
Don't let the bird sigh softly, don't let the dragonfly break its arms,
To protect beneficial animals is to protect ourselves.
Dry the frog's tears, smooth the coat of the swallow,
Don't forget the gift of Mother Earth, we hold up the mission of love.
We are green defenders, we are close partners of animals
Let us exchange our sincere hearts for the beauty of the earth tomorrow.
This is a poem written at the Sobchaye Ecological Nomadic Cultural Festival. Since 2018, Dasheng Village has held an ecological nomadic cultural festival every July and August.
"Now we have set a long-term goal - to build the Sobuchaye area into an original base for national water conservation and ecological culture festivals, a demonstration base for rural revitalization and ecological civilization, and a comprehensive service center for water source ecological culture experience tourism; to excavate, collect and publish a guide to the ecology and humanities of the Sobuchaye area with pictures and texts, and to shoot and promote influential water source ecological and humanistic video works." Tashi Wenzhou, head of the service team's tourism team, said.
