These plants are easy to breed red spiders, which is due to poor air ventilation, coupled with dry environment and hot weather, which is the best environment for breeding red spiders.
In late spring, early summer, late summer, and autumn, all kinds of plants are particularly susceptible to infection with red spiders. In fact, red spiders can be prevented, mainly used to prevent the breeding of red spider eggs, as long as their eggs are removed, they can strangle red spiders in the cradle, generally spraying insecticide every half a month or so, that is, 15 to 30 days spray.
Especially when the ventilation is not good, the environment is dry, and the temperature is relatively high, we must pay attention to regular spraying, this kind of insecticide can be sprayed alternately with 1 to 2 kinds, which can achieve better insecticidal effect.
1. Three kinds of agents to remove eggs and larvae
The three main types introduced above are to play a preventive role, and the most common ones that are generally used to remove eggs are spirospidyl ester, ethyl mitezole and biphenylhydrazine.
Among them, biphenylhydrazine is suitable for use at low temperatures, because most of the red spiders are bred at high temperatures, and most of the drugs will have better results at high temperatures.
Ethyl spirant is a more effective agent for removing red spiders, eggs and larvae, it has a two-way conduction effect, that is, it can be absorbed by plants, produce anti-pest effects, can also promote plant growth, it will also have a certain spray killing effect on pests such as aphids, whitefly and thrips.
2. Pay attention to spraying agents
When spraying plants or using spider insecticides, be sure to use the correct concentration, which will be written on the instructions for the agent.
Pay attention to spraying the leaf back of the plant evenly, focusing on the back of the leaf of the plant, and spray from the bottom up. Let these potions adhere to the back of the leaves to better remove insect pests.
Especially the leaves at the bottom of the plant, we must focus on taking care of the red spider infected by the plant, and the spraying agent should choose to have a better insecticidal effect in the morning or evening when the weather is cool. Do not spray at noon and in the afternoon when the weather is hot (easy to cause drug damage).
3. Physical removal of pesticides
If your plants in your home have been infected with red spiders and do not want to spray, in fact, you can also use physical methods to remove some of the insect pests, be sure to operate in a well-ventilated situation, that is, use some pressure watering cans, use a strong water flow to spray the back of the leaves, spray in the cool morning or evening, and pluck some old leaves at the bottom of the plant.
When the weather is cool, most of the eggs and larvae of the red spider will lurk on the back of the leaf, and the leaf implanted at the bottom will be removed, about 1/3 of it, which can basically remove most of the insect pests.
In the later stage, the environmental ventilation is improved in time, the humidity is increased, and the temperature is lowered, which can avoid the large-scale flooding of red spiders.
4. Spray adult red spiders
If the plant has been infected with red spiders, and the situation is more serious (more adults), there are worm eggs, larvae and adult worms on the plant, we must pay attention to the use of two insecticides, that is, the removal of eggs and larvae of the drug, and then with a drug to remove adult insects sprayed together, you can play a better effect, the removal of red spider adult agents can be used to ethazole mites.
Another agent that is more effective in removing adult insects is spironyl ester, coupled with some agents to remove insect eggs, such as the common spironoid ethyl ester, acetazole and biphenylhydrazine, you can directly buy some compounded agents to remove red spiders (such as pyridoxine. Spironyl esters or spironoids and ethanazole) can achieve the same effect.
5. Add dish soap
When spraying red spider insecticide on plants, you can appropriately add 1 to 2 drops of dish soap, do not add too much, shake evenly after adding, and have the appropriate foam to get up (you can increase the adhesion effect of the agent). After 3 days after spraying, just carefully check the back of the leaf, once it is found that no insects crawl on the leaves, it proves a particularly good removal effect, and the spray again is to remove the red spider eggs agent (spirant ethyl ester, acetazole and biphenylhydrazine) can solve the problem.
6. What kind of drug is sprayed with serious insect pests?
Red spider insecticide can be sprayed every three days, because red spiders generally reproduce every 3 days, basically spraying, 2 to 3 times, can remove the insect infestation.
If your red spider insect infestation is particularly serious, the stems and leaves of the plant have been infected with red spiders, the leaves have been yellowed, and even the plant will be yellowed and wilted, and there will be small spider webs on the plant, that is, the insect infestation is particularly serious, and it is necessary to spray some powerful insecticides, such as alkyne mite.
Before spraying alkyne mite, it is also necessary to use a pressure stream of water to wash away the leaf back of the plant, wash away most of the insect pests, and then spray the alkyne mite insecticide (concentration of more than 3000 times). Also pay attention to spraying in the morning or evening when the weather is cool (do not spray when there is rain), you can achieve good results.
After spraying alkyne mites, some of the leaves of the plant will be damaged (the leaves will be yellowish), but at least better than being harmed by insects.
