The Shalang Cultural and Creative Park, which was rebuilt from the former site of the Yunnan Daily War Readiness Printing Factory of Yunnan Newspaper Group, is located in the "Hometown of Golden Flowers", "Little Dali" and "Back Garden" on the edge of Kunming City - Xiyi Shalang.
As the former site of the Yunnan Daily Shalang Printing Factory in the early days of the founding of New China, the Shalang Cultural and Creative Park left a large number of well-preserved font copper molds and casting equipment, and the party members and teachers visited the movable type printing museum in the park at close range under the guidance of the docents.
One after another historical photos and printing equipment came into view, and the party members and teachers felt the dedication and innovative spirit of the ancestors in the development process of printing technology, and also reviewed the arduous struggle in the early days of the founding of New China in the red cultural base of The Shalang Cultural and Creative Park.
In addition to the famous movable type printing museum, Shalang Cultural and Creative Park is a microcosm of the folk culture of Shalang Bai Nationality Township. In this activity, the teachers also had close contact with China's excellent traditional culture and folk customs, personally experienced the Bai "three teas" and handmade tie-dye, memory cinema and other projects, felt the beauty of intangible cultural heritage, experienced traditional crafts, and understood the charm and characteristics of cultural diversity.
Subsequently, under the leadership of Ni Lei, secretary of the party branch and executive principal of the Haiyuan Campus of Wucheng Primary School Education Group, all party members and teachers visited the field and felt the revolutionary history and culture of the Red Army's Long March through Kunming Wuhua (now Changkou Township and Shalang Township) twice. In the conference room of the party school education and training base, the party history study with the theme of "not forgetting the original heart and keeping the mission in mind" was carried out, so that every teacher could relive the original intention of joining the party, always remember the identity of the party member, never forget the mission of the original heart, have the courage to take responsibility, take the lead in carrying forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation, and influence and drive students with their own exemplary behavior.
This theme party day activity ended in the red spirit, I believe that every teacher will remember the inheritance in this cultural journey, and send love to the home and country in the red memory.
